Paddy Stewart has refused to mention the so-called takeover of the club in an interview with Rangers TV.
Wednesday night saw a burst of activity with the CEO hosting a fans forum where the announcement of Kevin Thelwell’s appointment as Sporting Director at some future date was the highlight.
No improvements will be made to the Sandy Jardine or Broomloan Stands with the mythical 70,000 Megabrox Stadium as far away as it was in 1998 when Dave Murray started firing moonbeams about exceeding the capacity of Celtic Park.
While the meeting went on Sky Sports News were given the vaguest of statements about the American fakeover which was greeted with hysteria by the Gullible & Deluded.
The phrase productive conversations was greeted with delight, confirming the WORLD EXCLUSIVE by Keith Jackson on February 19 over that talks with the San Francisco 49ers were at an advanced stage.
Three days on there is nothing on the club website about the productive conversations, yesterday Stewart, known as Big Ears within football, gave a two minute interview that discussed the Fan Forum and Kevin Thelwell but not a peep over the exciting fakeover.
The club website reports Stewart saying:
This event was really important, and it was something I committed to when I joined the club, to have regular dialogue with supporters.
I hope the supporters felt we gave honest answers. We certainly took every question that was asked of us but hopefully it is useful, and they want to see more of these events.
As a management team we are really keen to communicate with fans and to deal with the questions honestly, so I’ll be interested to hear the feedback.
There is unlikely to be any further comment on the fakeover until after Season Ticket renewals are completed, after that some unexpected problems are set to emerge.
Douglas Park with a holding of 11,54% is the second biggest shareholder in the club that lost £17.2m last season and is on course for losses of around £25m this season.

Wayne Rooney just been seen walking through the doors at ibrox stadium, rumours have it that he will be announced as the next manager should we clinch th title today to take all the headlines away from us.
Watch this space.
I pray to God that is actually true.
Rooney would take them into a tailspin that no manager has ever before.
He is absolutely useless at it.
Once again its the glitzy with zero substance.
Again, if a ‘takeover’ was genuine, then it would the first question to the CEO.
He could say something vague, like ‘talks are ongoing, but can’t say more for confidentiality reasons’.
Fair enough.
But to completely blank – arguably – the most significant story in sevco’s history
seems to suggest, yet again, that it’s all just p!sh. 🙂
Popcorn on standby for the announcement of the ‘withdrawal’.
If Rooney ends up at Sevco…I’ll buy everyone on here ..a drink…My cousin knows him very well…He hates Sevco.
Aye ..Stewart is getting advice from Inaction over at the Record about all 49 ers stuff from their inception in the US of A . Next up will be a daily Record production crew being sent to San Francisco on the Red Eye to grab all the important information for it’s dozens of readers …another ‘ world exclusive ‘ overseen by the chief Record sports scoop extraordinaire !
They’ll go mad if it’s Rooney…
Catholic manager and potential Catholic owners –
Offft – That’ll go down well with the orange walkers – NOT !
I think the main worry here is how the Celtic board will react to any challenge that does arise. I would imagine if Sevco manage to get their act together it will be a couple of years before the board realise it has to do something. We saw this during Lennon’s TIR fiasco.
How long is it since 49ers won the Super Bowl
