A very convincing looking Celtic home kit for the 25/26 season has surfaced tonight on X/Twitter.
It was rumoured much earlier in the season that there would be a tartan hint in the kit, perhaps to reinforce Celtic being the most successful club in Scottish football history.
The modern kit reveal is a complex process, usually a kit will appear in some far flung corner of the globe, be spotted by a fan then shared across social media.
Mission accomplished by the kit manufacturer who get great exposure for minimal outlay.
Technically Adidas have only five more matches to run of their current contract with Celtic but it would be the biggest shock of the season if there was no extension.
That the new one

The above kit certainly seems believable, it is a step or two ahead of the concept kits that never get beyond the drawing board.
It is fair to say that the best Adidas kit was the retro one in 2023 that was never worn, the one with white on white logos, looking as plain as the glorious shirt that strode onto the field in Lisbon.
Whatever the club come up with in conjunction with Adidas it is sure to sell in huge numbers and be highly visible in all the holiday hotspots through the summer months.

Even a hint of a kilt i won’t be buying it !!! sorry about that old stock of barley !! bombs away !!
Kerching…is King.
I remember an away top a few years ago that was bottle green with a tartan strip down it…
Was quite nice and the green represented our Irish heritage and The Tartan our Scottish One !
