With Celtic clinching their 55th Scottish championship at the weekend, the hype and spin from legacy media outlets has been cranked up to incredible levels.
The build-up to Saturday’s title clincher included the classic Tedious Treble from the Daily Mail, alongside criticism of Arne Engels and Adam Idah.
Brendan Rodgers’ departure in the summer would be a dream come true but the pesky Irishman has increased his likelihood of staying at Celtic from 150% to 200% which seems fairly emphatic.
Over the last three seasons there has only been one genuine trophy triumph for the Ibrox club, the December 2023 League Cup win after some questionable refereeing from Alan Muir ended Celtic’s hopes away to Kilmarnock.

Throughout the latest period of Celtic dominance, legacy media publishers have kept up the flow of good news stories out of Ibrox.
Every new manager brings in a Revolution! While the overpriced and overpaid players are hyped up way beyond their capabilities.
The promises and claims rarely vary, for every time that James Tavernier has promised success there is a follow up along the lines of ‘this time next year’.
The cycle seems never ending, or self perpetuating.
Bruno Alves arrived in the summer of 2017 vowing to take the title from Celtic, a similar template has been used for all sorts of no-marks from Todd Cantwell to Real Madrid transfer target Jefte.
Over the next few weekends Celtic fans will be celebrating real success, on the old school backpages we’ll be getting Warburton-like promises and warnings over how everything is about to change. Again.

Lol how uncomfortable was that today on the STV news at 6 bells with Ramon Bagwash trying to extract some information from a couple of tyre kickers hanging around the the klan klub stadium like a bad smell, the weather was the only thing that got a conversation.
Better still jump on to the daily sevco online and read Scott McDoughnut article on the FAKEOVER,reading that shite he spewed out was like listening to a sevco blogger, never mind some dud fud of a neutral journalist supposedly, you would think it was a teenage schoolboy looking at his first scud magazine.
Are we absolutely sure that Sevco aren’t about to be ” backed” by outside investors ??… One way or another it looks as if they are …Tell me I’m wrong.
Aye – Just wondering who is saying they are Terence !
Nae smoke withoot fire Clach…??…
Editor: Check the source of the fire, he has previous with excitable preductions.
Video Celts thinks it’s a Fake over Terence – I don’t watch the ‘news’ only Springwatch and football and nothing else so wouldn’t know what their take on things are…
Ultra Pro Sevco no doubt !
I see in the photo above the wee banjo playing guy from the film Deliverance sneaking in,right out the ugly tree skelping every branch on the way down before hitting the deck.
Aye, sevco have consistently lost the back page headlines,
and soon to lose the front page too, re: the highly anticipated ‘takeover’ ?
However, the fact that photos were allowed of the Yanks inside ibrox
does suggest there is maybe ‘something’ tangible to agree – or not?
Not a takeover, but perhaps some sort of ‘tie-in’ with sevco which might involve
marketing, players and/or a loan?
But, whatever is going on, it’s taking forever…
Loving yer work Joe, long may the trinity run !!!
Long may the feelgood pish continue
……To be printed on behalf of the huns, they’ll live in lala land, we’ll continue to prosper in the real world.
Gaun the ‘tic !!!
