Scott Burns has named three priority positions that Celtic will look to strengthen when the Transfer Window opens in June.
While short of having a 100% track record on transfers the Daily Record reporter has an impressive strike rate, when he puts a story together most fans, even those sceptical of his newspaper will give his comments credibility.
A central midfielder, a defensive midfielder and a right-winger are described as the most pressing positions.
Midfield is an interesting area, Celtic currently have five players competing for three positions but some fans would claim that there is a sameness about the five options. None of then would be described as a holding or defensive midfielder, for many fans the signing of a ‘Wanyama-type’ midfielder would solve a number of issues.

The Hoops’ recruitment team have put out their current priority positions to strengthen their Treble-chasing squad.
They currently have a central midfielder, central defensive midfielder and a right winger as most pressing.
Much will depend on who is leaving Celtic, over the last two summers Jota, Carl Starfelt and Matt O’Riley, all first team regulars have been sold.

There have been suggestions Hatate could be sold this summer as Celtic look to maximise his valuation. This will probably happen.
Lennon Miller of Motherwell has been mentioned as a long time arrival, with his Motherwell deal running until May 2026 this summer will be critical if the Lanarkshire side are to raise a club record fee.
Hovering over all activity is the future of Brendan Rodgers who is out also out of contract in May 2026.
Players sign for a club but knowing that the current manager will be around for more than a year will always be a factor in the decision of players when joining a club.
Serious question…Is Lennon Miller as good as being reported ?…I have only seen glimpses of him in highlights…and he doesn’t stand out for me…but that’s an unfair judgement…Anybody got knowledge of his ability ?
It was only last week 2 ex-hun players put a best selection 11 players,their selections had been full of sevco players with the exception of 1 possibly 2 Celtic to make the 11.
Kyogo and Taylor had not been selected in the best of team,but now all of a sudden both players are available Taylor on a free,Kyogo at a knockdown price and sevco want them both,I blame the schools.
