Celtic are still predicted to qualify for the Champions League through the Play Offs but could be unseeded in the draw.

With one point from their five remaining fixtures required to clinch the SPFL Premiership title the hoops are as close to a sure thing as there is.

Despite piling up a respectable number of co-efficient points from reaching the Round of 16 Play Off this season there is a strong chance that Brendan Rodgers’ side will be unseeded.

Much will depend on which clubs win the leagues in Austria, Denmark and Serbia, as things stand the current league leaders all have higher co-efficients than Celtic.

Not all of those champions will go straight into the Play Off Round which leaves them to navigate their way trough to that stage.

What can be said for certain is that Celtic will have one tie to get through with the matches being played on August 19/20 and 26/27 to reach the lucrative group phase.

The entry stage is determined by the national co-efficient with the placing in each round due to the co-efficient of the competing club.

Jumping one step further ahead Celtic would be a Pot 4 club but that means little since every club will be paired with two teams from each of the four Pots.

With Brendan Rodgers 150% committed for next season the onus is on the Celtic board to strengthen the squad to give the manager the strongest possible chance of competing in the group stage for a club record fourth season running.

Very confusing is this for sure…

But I’m sure that Video Celts will keep us well updated –

Anybody know when we find out for definite, for once and for all if we are seeded or not !

Editor: We won’t know for definite until the Third qualifying round is completed, it is all liquid…

As you say = very liquid.
Salzburg trailing Sturm Graz in Austria maybe helps us move to seeded.
    Copenhagen slight favs in Denmark.
Also the projected Pots don’t take into account England will have 5 representatives

They could have 6 if Spurs or Man U win europa league or seven if Villa win CL and finish outside top 5!
