Adam Idah reached an important landmark with goal number 20 of the season, popping in Celtic’s final goal in the 5-1 win away to Aberdeen.
The striker came off the bench in the 70th minute, Alfie Dorrington was sent off for a second yellow card offence on the striker in the 78th minute then found the net with 90 on the clock.
Idah’s tally of 20 consists of 13 in the SPFL Premiership, two in each of the domestic cup competitions and three in the Champions League. There was also the small matter of netting a shoot out penalty in the League Cup Final plus an international goal against Bulgaria.
Hitting 20 in a season is the target for most strikers, at Celtic Daizen Maeda and Nicolas Kuhn have already passed that landmark.

For reasons mainly related to his £9m price tag some Celtic fans don’t seem to appreciate the role that Idah plays backed up by a significant goals return.
Idah has scored in each of Celtic’s last five matches, with two games to go he’ll be looking to keep that run going with St Mirren and Aberdeen the last domestic opponents before he reports for international duty.
I’m pleased for Adam !
