After his side won 3-2 away to AGF Aarhus Mathias Kvistagaarden appears to have said farewell to Brondby.
The striker has been linked with Celtic over the last four transfer windows but as his profile has grown so too has interest from the major European leagues.
Brondby finished their season in third place, at the final whistle the away support unfurled a huge tifo for Kvistgaarden who acknowledged the gesture.
In his third season as a first team regular the 23-year-old scored 17 times in 29 league matches with his club finishing the campaign in third place.
Kvistagaarden was substituted in the 73rd minute then came out to wave to the fans after the final whistle.

It now seems inevitable that Kvistgaarden will leave Denmark to advance his career with Brondby Director of Football Benjamin Schmedes telling Tipsbladet:
We will look at it when there is something on the table that we can talk about. We don’t have that right now, so we are not saying goodbye to him yet. We will sit down and look at the season, and then we will see what the transfer window brings. That applies to Mathias and all the other players.
He is an interesting player for the five major leagues. It is not without reason that he was named player of the year, and there are many things that bigger clubs in the five major leagues could be interested in. I will answer the phone when they call, and then we will see.
After agreeing to the transfer of Kyogo Furuhashi to Rennes in January Brendan Rodgers was expecting a replacement striker to be signed, instead Jota came in with Daizen Maeda switching from the left wing to play through the centre.
Following Saturday’s defeat in the Scottish Cup Final there is unlikely to be any official media events from Celtic leaving fans to second guess transfer activities with the first pre-season match scheduled for July 7 away to Cork City.

Wanting to come to Celtic FC, says a lot from such a talented footballer. His clips are impressive. Well done Celtic Club,
Champions of Scotland.
Joe, Enjoy those Bars and music in Spain, that you wrote about.
John Clarke – where are hearing/reading that he wants to come to Celtic, as opposed to other interested clubs? I haven’t read anything concrete anywhere else.
Help needed.. Who “authorises ” new signings like Idah and Engels..??…Does BR pick them …or somebody else ??…Genuine question…Would love to know who was responsible for them arriving.
