Ally McCoist believes that the appointment of Davide Ancelotti reveals that the American takeover is imminent!
The former Rangers manager might be sharing his views with multiple media outlets but he seems incredibly naive if he thinks things are done and dusted.
Clearly Ancelotti Junior wants it known that he is available for his first managerial job with Monday’s breaking news eagerly recycled across the Scottish media.
Unfortunately for Carlo’s boy the club at Ibrox have very little in place for the incoming fire-fighter.
In February when the Daily Record broke the WORLD EXCLUSIVE on the takeover talks were at an advanced stage.
Three months later and with four days left in the season nothing has progressed with the Second Round of the Champions League being played on July 22/23 and 29/30.
Sharing the good news about Ancelotti and the fakeover the Daily Record reports McCoist telling TalkSPORT listeners:
What this appointment would tell me is that the takeover is just about done. They are not going to go and appoint somebody if the takeover is not done.
The club will be in new hands before a new manager is appointed. It just makes sense and would suggest to me that the ownership deal is just about done.
With Dave King optimistically putting the takeover date as mid-June McCoist and Ancelotti Junior are in for a long wait for good news while Celtic continue picking up trophies.
Strange that
If you head over to ibox noise they seem to put the derry for Davides anniontmen squarely at the door of the present board .
They both can’t be right .
Confused fc
Oh dear and what about when the jobbie hits the fan.
Absolutely scunnered listening to these moon howlers.
They no deed again yet?
As far as we are aware, none of the larger shareholders – including King – have actually sold their shares.
There may be ‘agreements in place’ to sell – dependent on conditions being met / achieved.
So, this ‘consortium’ would have zero influence on the current operations of RIFC.
They’re still just tyre-kickers… and they could easily just bugger off tomorrow? 🙂
What about the soft loans owed to Bennet..Park and others apparently in the region of £26million +. They bought Confetti shares to keep the lights on at the Falldown Dome and pay the Govan Galacticos wages.
Perhaps Ferguson should quote Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE) rights to protect his position.
One thing that hasn’t been mentioned is that if someone comes up to you and says I represent a big rich company and I would like to buy your crappy shares for two-pence so that I can build a great successful business where the shares will be worth millions.
I think I would say “Nah, you’re alright, Ill hang on to them in that case. Get some other mug to sell you theirs”
Rotten face old drunk .
Yep one ugly lookin bastard for sure…
I ain’t no oil painting but that even makes me look good !
Sean McArdle direct, extremely clever, brave and energetic. That’s the last we will see of him.
He must play in the final in place of any of the other three chancers in the midfield.
Brilliant play towards the end and always happens when MacGregor isn’t there. Wake up Brenden.
