All across Europe civil authorities are preparing to recognise and celebrate the successes of their football clubs, except in Glasgow.
Newcastle set the standard in April when they celebrated their League Cup win at Wembley with an open top bus parade through the city centre.
Similar scenes are expected in Liverpool on Monday with fans inside Anfield celebrating their first EPL title in a generation.
Not only does Glasgow refuse to recognise the brilliance of Scotland’s most successful club but it goes out of its way to accommodate Orange hate marches all through the summer months.

Bank Holiday Monday will be a special day in Croydon as Crystal Palace parade their first ever senior trophy, the FA Cup won last Saturday against Manchester United at Wembley.
Every year legacy media outlets share their horror at the scenes around the Trongate as Celtic fans celebrate, talks about talks will be discussed but there is no sign of leadership in the city in delivering a money spinning event rather than stories of pyro, traffic lights and rubbish piling up.

Liverpool won the league 2019-20
Editor: With no public parade- their fans never even got round to trashing George Square.
Yeah they did but it was coving! Keep up
Greater Glasgow orange council
Parade from Hampdump to Paradise tomorrow evening please !!!
After Celtic win the treble today , to be shown on BBC Scotland, look out for the most underwhelming and disappointed coverage from the publicly funded national broadcaster…. imaginable ! Low key commentaries …. disheartened presenters …and an entire production programme full of apathy at Celtic’s dominance and achievements . It’s going to be portrayed as boring ….with our own money !
