GLASGOW, SCOTLAND - MAY 11: Rangers fans hold a banner which reads 'Jumped the gun and lost the fans, no apology - no surrender' during a William Hill Premiership match between Rangers and Aberdeen at Ibrox Stadium, on May 11, 2025, in Glasgow, Scotland. After an absolutely disastrous week at work there was a special message for Paddy Stewart at Ibrox today.
Barely 30,000 loyal bears could be bothered with attending the latest dead rubber but those that did turn up gave their backing to the Union Bears as they delivered their verdict on the club CEO, politely described on the message boards as a woke, wet-wipe.
With his first name and coming from Aberdeen it is clear that Steward wasn’t brought up as a bear, the last week will have brought him upto speed with the dangers of his job, trying to sanitise the most toxic group of supporters in world football.
Being PC is a crime in the eyes of most Ibrox fans- they turn up at the stadium to escape the outside world in order to indulge in their own warped superiority complex.
Looks like thousands of rangers fans have surrendered?

Last week’s statement to media messengers that the Tifo from the Union Bears crossed a line brought a furious reaction. It seems that Stewart is the one that crossed a line, there will be no way back with just a 50-50 chance that he can outlast James Bisgrove who spent 11 months as CEO before heading for easy money in Saudi Arabia.
The banner statement was followed by a meeting with the Fans Advisory Board in which it appears some dubious claims were made about Financial Sustainability Regulations.
Topping things off was Dave King’s Talksport interview alongside the usual squealing from Barry Ferguson that they should hurry up and give him the job.
With the season about to end Stewart has still to appoint a manager with the so-called takeover now under discussion for eight months and going nowhere fast.
In 70 days time Stewart is expected to have a team on the park ready for the demands of qualifying for the Champions League and a £40m payday.
After the past week Stewart is now identified as part of the problem, five months into the job he has had his eyes well and truly opened to the danger money he is collecting.

Paddy’s in a no-win scenario.
He can’t change the ibrox culture – but he’s got to be seen to be trying (for external reasons.)
Plus, he’s going to get the blame for the Yanks doing a runner?
The only consolation is he should get a decent payoff, (assuming he’s not a fixed-term contractor, of course?)
I remember going to Ibrox in the 90’s when I was in my 40’s and us all singing “our day our day will come”. …..well I’m late 60’s now and our day has come and I’m loving it so much ????????????????
Not half!
Just think how it will look over there when it’s announced that the Yanks have done a BUNK.
Well the first bit of the bottom line is correct as they’ll NEVER apologise…
The second bit though – Jeez, What lies for Liebrox for sure…
They have surrendered EVERYTHING, absolutely Everything…
Celtic have EVERY record In Scottish Football for sure !!!
Patrick Stewart did ask and got, an independent, “root, stem and branch” review
of the structure and operation of the Club. He is not a wilting pansy. He has taken a stand against one enemy of the Club, that forced the sacking of three Managers.
Gio Van Bronkhorst’s dismissal was undeserved, Gio and his team should have refused to leave.
