Prestwick and Saltcoats has produced the two most successful players in Celtic’s history, between them they have collected 51 winners medals.
In 1967 Bobby Lennox won the greatest trophy of all, the European Cup earning him and his team-mates a place in history beyond equal.
Two weeks ago at Tannadice James Forrest edged his medal tally past that of the legendary Lisbon Lion, a total of 26 built around 13 SPL/SPFL medals.
In the 93rd minute of the 38th match Forrest equalised for Celtic against St Mirren, becoming only the fourth player to have scored in 16 seasons for the club.
The medals, honours and stories pile up for two legendary figures, yesterday they were pictured together inside Celtic Park.

Forrest is far from finished, next weekend he has a Scottish Cup Final to look forward to and another season under contract.
Over the last two seasons he has come good in the spring time, playing a pivotal role in last season’s double success.
By the end of next season Forrest could have 30 winners medals, giving team-mate Callum McGregor something to aim for.
Fair play to James , he stuck around when most of our supporters wouldn’t have cared if he moved on at the end of Ronnies tenure. High praise to Brendan for seeing the value James and Tom could bring to the squad over the next number of years and got them to sign new contracts . Well done James ??
