Despite the family issue flagged up by Keith Jackson last night bears are fully back on board the Steben Gerrard train.

Like James Tavernier, Gerrard looked on as Celtic won successive trebles, no other Glasgow manager has survived that but with the knives being sharpened for the Liverpool legend Lockdown came to the rescue.
In season one Gerrard lost out in the League Cup semi-final at Hampden to Aberdeen, Derek McInnes’ side then won at Ibrox in a Scottish Cup replay.
The following season there was a League Cup Final defeat from Celtic with the Scottish Cup trail ending away to soon to be relegated Hearts.
During the Lockdown season the League Cup interest ended away to St Mirren before St Johnstone won a penalty shoot out at Ibrox. Callum Davidson won two trophies that season.
In total Gerrard lost cup ties twice to Aberdeen and once to Celtic, St Mirren, St Johnstone and Hearts, losing one semi final and one final in six attempts.
