Vaclav Cerny offered comfort to Ibrox fans after his side won their first match at Ibrox in over three months.
The on loan winger has scored 18 goals but squirting the contents of a water bottle on Celtic fans provided most bears with the highlight of their grim season.
Cerny has two years left on his Wolfsburg deal- and two matches left on his Ibrox loan.
With a £7m fee on his head he is about to go the same way as Abdalah Sima and Malik Tillman although it is understood that there won’t be any lifetime payments heading to Ibrox from Bayern Munich similar to the Tillman loan deal.
Over the next few weeks legacy media outlets will be speculating on a permanent move for Cerny while knowing full well that there is no chance of the Czech winger returning to Ibrox.
No sign of white smoke over Ibrox is the least of the club’s problems, losses of around £2m a month have to be halted with the new manager forced to work under severe austerity conditions no matter how much the Daily Record discusses war-chests and £4m Samba stars.

Obviously, it is a big decision to be made. To be very honest, I have two games to go with every opportunity still open.
One opportunity is firmly closed with Krid Boyd delivering the bad news:
It is going to be difficult. He cost Wolfsburg £7m or round about that so it is going to be difficult. You look at Cerny, he can be pleased with his performances. He has been consistent, and 18 goals I think it is now for the season, good return.
Leon Balogun, Ianis Hagi and Tom Lawrence are also about to bank their final salary payment as Paddy Stewart gets to work on the wage bill.

The huns have made the best offer they could afford: a pound down and 10p a week.
Too many ginger bottles, the delivery fee outstripped the cost .
Minimum wage plus all the leftover pies and Bears Pakora – the same sort of deal that Derek Johnstone at iBrox!
