Back in 2012 many despairing Rangers fans reacted to news of administration then liquidation with the puzzled look that said ‘but naebdy tellt us’.
But they did.
Within a day of Craig Whyte being introduced to Daily Record readers a variety of Internet Bampots revealed that he wasn’t a billionaire, his wealth wasn’t off the radar. Renting a castle in the Highlands isn’t really a sign of being one of Scotland’s richest men.
Rangers fans that could read simply claimed that Selik supporters were terrified of a new generation of domination, they had found a worthy heir to Dave Murray.
Eventually as administration loomed the Record started to downgrade their claims about Mr Whyte.
On February 19 Keith Jackson was back on the scent, this WORLD EXCLUSIVE would transform Scottish football with multi-million pound investment leading to a summer spending splurge.
Again the Internet Bampots said no, it won’t be happening, Jose Mourinho wouldn’t be slipping into the brogues of dignity to spend £50-100m on the next batch of Ibrox superstars.
Seems like the Record is coming round to the FACT! that the pesky bampots have called this fakeover out for what it is.
I think more than a few (ahem!) Celtic minded folk may have been pointing out the stark realities pretty much since this was mentioned. Honestly, for laughs I like to think of this as a Dragon’s Den pitch.

Yogi Junior is usually on ACSOM on a Wednesday, hopefully he is on today to explain more about the Great Season Ticket Grab conducted with the unswerving support of the Record and other legacy media outlets.
Nothing in the February 19 story stood up to any scrutiny but then that’s not the purpose of the Record, especially leading into the Renewal campaign.
Feel-good stories and moonbeams are the order of the day as Scotland’s Most Successful club hoover up more titles, trophies and glory. Not really the sort of content that the Record’s Army of Readers want to find out about.

Ashley MK11 if you ask me,they will pick up some dregs from Leeds Utd the duds and duffers or if yiu want to use the American terms nickel&dime players not required by Leeds.
But hey don’t be surprised to see the BOOZE JOCKEY ALKIE coupon Jackass Jackson go against his fellow journalist and colleague and go the opposite direction and still say there is plenty of money for players with 1 or 2 others joining in making Burns article look stupid.
There is a you tube video doing the rounds just now ABSOLUTELY HILLARIOIUS,linking it up with Ferguson and Dodds on the touchline on Sunday shouting and bawling giving out instructions to players, then doing it scene for scene from Chewin The Fat with with both managers coping each other on the sidelines,a think even Ferguson and Dodds would find it funny.
Any links to this video?
Is it possible that the chief sports scoop at the daily Record – Inaction , has been DUPED ? Surely not ! Or has he been played like a ‘ fiddle ‘ by a renowned ‘ spiv and speculator ‘ from somewhere near Jo’burg …desperate to offload his shares at a profit ? If so with the latter , I wonder if the old ‘ brown envelope ‘ routine , would be a pre- requisite? Ah, hello my old friend …tickly handshake …shove that in your sky rocket … eye wink…job done ….massive booze up … nobody any the wiser !
The weird thing is if you read the comments , they all think the Record is a Celtic rag
Seen that many’s a time on Wallow Wallow Harold !
Season ticket sales now closed.
If they have lied to get money they are committing fraud.
The Sevco Hun Hoards are that dense they won’t care….
Until results start to go Pete Tong Wrong next season that is !
We can only hope for their sake Barry(8) get’s the job , he gets it, he’s a real Rangerz man
In the context of criminal law in Scotland, “falsehood, fraud, and wilful imposition” refers to a specific type of dishonesty that involves a deliberate act of deception, with the intent to deceive or defraud, and the successful achievement of that deception leading to benefit for the perpetrator or prejudice to another. This phrase is used in legal proceedings and is a common way to describe various forms of dishonesty in Scotland, including embezzlement and breach of trust.
Here’s a more detailed breakdown:
Falsehood:
This refers to the act of making a false statement or representation, whether verbally, in writing, or through conduct.
Fraud:
This element involves the intent to deceive or defraud someone, meaning the perpetrator knowingly makes a false statement with the purpose of gaining an advantage or causing loss to another.
Wilful Imposition:
This signifies that the deceptive act has been successful, resulting in the perpetrator gaining a benefit or advantage, or causing harm or prejudice to the victim.
While in our slightly green-tinted spectacles the key elements are all present, proving that the stories of a megabuck$ takeover by wealthy American investors were spread knowing them to be verifiably untrue rather than just wildly optimistic would be very hard, particularly given the story was ‘revealed’ indirectly by their useful idiots in the press rather than via official club channels.
The so called smsm fan boy journalists have known all along that this takeover saga at The Ragers is not the golden ticket but more like the golden calf! they have all just been toeing the party line, being good little servile boys and girls. HH!
