The incoming owners at Ibrox faced their Court of Session debut yesterday as the claim from the Reputation Exchange moved a step closer.
The Cypriot based company were involved in creating a bespoke pre-payment card for the Ibrox club similar to the ones being used by AC Milan and Torino.
When the club pulled out of the contract in 2023 REPX began their claim for compensation.
The full hearing will take place at the Court of Session in Edinburgh between July 8 and 11 with REPX believed to be looking for £2m in compensation with a procedural hearing taking place on Tuesday morning.

The company has started a costly lawsuit against the Scottish club Rangers FC who had a customised payment card created to their specifications.
REPX invested several hundred thousand GBP in technology and one year of development) and then effectively blocked the issuance of the card on instrumental grounds that even the Scottish Legal Counsel (which carries significant weight in Scotland) who provided us with the prior legal advice to start the legal process dismissed as unfounded.
In fact the Scottish Legal Counsel invited us to assert our right to a substantial refund of the amount invested on the basis of the Scottish club’s claims. We believe we should be entitled to receive a significant compensation.
Several reports this year have claimed that the football club is now litigation free following costly court cases against Sports Direct and Hummel over kit deals and contracts.
Two weeks on from the Press Release for the ‘takeover’ there still hasn’t been any update with Companies House for the sale of shares or the removal and addition of new directors including mystery man Andrew Cavenagh.
