Hamza Igamane is reported to have agreed terms to join Lille.
The Moroccan was signed by Phil Clement on a multi-year contract last summer and is believed to be desperate to get out of Ibrox even if Paraag Marathe described the crumbling old castle as the crown jewels of European football.
Igamane is thought to be earning less than a quarter of what Cyriel Dessers is taking home, despite a scoring burst in the new year there has been no talks about an improved contract.
Despite expectations of a clear out of the long term failures at Ibrox James Tavernier, Ridvan Yilmaz, Ben Davies, Kieran Dowell and the usual suspects all reported to Murray Park on Monday for pre-season training under the Russell Revolution.
In order to comply with Financial Sustainability Regulations players will have to be sold from Ibrox this summer with Igamane looking like one of the first to go.

Tavolieri, no relation to Tavpen, is a Belgian transfer specialist with over 150,000 followers on Twitter.
Marathe and Andrew Cavenagh underlined the need to be self sustaining to the nodding dog messengers during Monday’s PR charm exercise.
Now the bears are about to discover what that really means while they consider their club as one of the wealthiest and most stable in Europe.
It appears that agents for all players have been given licence to find deals elsewhere regardless of contract lengths.
Robin Propper at Twente and Cyriel Dessers with AEK Athens have achieved that with the buying clubs just waiting for the asking price to fall.
Lille will be prepared to spend around £4m on Igamane, if that price isn’t matched an unhappy and underpaid player will be reporting back to Murray Park after sitting on the bench for both of Morocco’s June international friendlies.
Sacha Tavolieri is generally seen as reliable for football transfer news, often breaking stories like Romeo Lavia’s move to Chelsea and Napoli keeping Antonio Conte. He’s cited by outlets like Sports Mole and fan forums rate him as “mostly reliable.” However, he’s not top-tier…

Any chance you can save news like this going forward till at least the next morning so I’m not going to sleep scunnered??

Given that Rangers don’t have to sell, it’s reasonable to expect that Lille will have make a very substantial bid to buy Hamza. Also, other clubs are interested. Let’s have an auction

The tribute act followers are quoting between £15-25m so I’d say it’s safe to assume this deal will be an ‘undisclosed’ fee.
15 million won’t buy Igamane. I know, I’m one of them. All deals in and out will be undisclosed. This north African dud will be 4 million at best. Losing him, Dessers, and Cerny is losing 40 goals and 15 assists per season. Hearts should win the Second in Glasgow Cup this season.
The Morrocan Messi,Dessers and 1 or 2 others might just break that £810,000 bang bangs from last seasons jumbo sale of players.
How much will sevco get for the Moroccan Messi then?
And starting yet another season with TavPen as club captain,
doesn’t exactly scream ‘change & improvement’ under the new leadership at ibrox! 🙂
The Sevco thickos are excited about the money they think they’ll get for players ….Should they no be worrying about the lack of decent players they’ve got ??…Absolute FUDS.
You want an auction go to McTeer’s.
Lol £4 million bang bangs, one of their ARSEHOLE bloggers and the ARSEHOLES in the press had been quoting figures of bids starting at £20 million.
Apparently this will kick off a transfer avalanche. They cant even bear to quote the £4m price because it is nowhere near their crazy £15m prediction ha ha ha
I thought the world had gone mental when WGS got over 2million for Craig Beattie. If they get 4 for this clown then the world really is fkd. The smsm will tell them they got double figures and they’ll believe it.
£4 million – He’s not that bloody good – Even If Celtic made him look like a bloody world beater in march sadly !
According to Gav over at daily Record HQ , this Igamane sale will break theRangers’ transfer record in a doddle ! Always one for staunch reportage and toeing the line of loyalty to everything of an Ibroxland persuasion is big Gav . Someone who has a proper ‘ grip ‘ of proceedings …the editor of editors . Yeah !!!!
