It has been reported that Sevco have reached an out of court settlement in the £2m claim against them by Reputation Exchange PLC.
Following a familiar pattern a contract was set up for a branded pre-payment card that would be marketed to the Gullible & Duledud with everyone a winner.
As is the case in many deals the Ibrox club pulled out, refused to compensate the other party who were forced to take action.
Google Sports Direct, Hummel or Elite Sport for similar activities, or Memorial Wall and Ibrox Wif-fi contract.
The full hearing was scheduled for next month at the Court of Session in Edinburgh but

RANGERS and a finance firm tasked with developing a fans pre-payment card have agreed to “settle” a “costly” lawsuit, a court has heard.
Lawyers for the Ibrox side and Reputation Exchange PLC told judge Lord Sandison at the Court of Session today that they have reached an agreement in the action “in principle”.
But Lord Sandison expressed concern about the state of the settlement agreement.
He said that he wasn’t content to end the action at the close of Friday’s hearing because of the lack of detail provided to the court.
Lord Sanderson is quoted as saying:
I’m not asking you in any way to disclose the terms of the settlement agreement.
But let us hypothesise that it might be that one party is going to pay some money to the other party.
What’s going to happen to the agreement – I pose this question rhetorically – if that money is not paid on the day that it is supposed to be paid?
Is there a settlement or is there not? If there is then there is no need to postpone the disposal of this action until implement because you have got a a binding agreement – which you can just come right back to court and say ‘here’s a binding agreement: it hasn’t been performed, we want it to be performed.’
I can assure you that in sort of situation the court rapidly expedites the disposal of such actions.
It looks like another chunk of Russell Martin’s transfer war-chest is being used up elsewhere in the troubled club.
It wouldn’t be the greatest surprise of all time if the July hearing went ahead following a misunderstanding over the out of court settlement.

If you stand back and look at the state of that place over the last 13 years, how is it still open for business?
10’s of millions of losses every season.
Loans galore from board members on top of those losses into the millions.
Share issues just to pay the bills.
No player trading model and an unaffordable wage structure.
The stadium crumbling.
Multiple court cases and compo for breach of contract.
Assets allowed to walk for free.
There is no business anywhere that could possibly still continue to trade under these circumstances.
I would go as far as to suggest that in 13 short years this club is in as big a state if not worse than the one that died..so how is it still allowed to operate, using operate in the loosest possible terms.

Ibrox, past and present has had more defaulters operating within its boardroom walls than the full amount held in an old Victorian debtors prison.

Jeez even the judges have got this mob’s number! That bit about what happens if the agreed sum is not paid up on the agreed date. Basically he’s warning the card folk that they’d better make sure that any and all documentation for this settlement is legally tighter than a camel’s @rse in a sandstorm and that it includes stuff about what happens if Sevco pull a fast one. They’re whining about a £3k fine for Bomber Brown’s corruption allegations, so it’s not a stretch to imagine they don’t have a pot to p155 in and that getting them to actually pay up as and when agreed may not be that simple.
How would we know if and when they paid the “Bomber” fine? The SFA would certainly not grass them if they defaulted.
Why would Brown not be responsible for paying the fine?
