As Daniel Cummings prepares to leave Celtic for West Ham news has emerged that Callum Osmand is close to joining the hoops.

They could both possibly exchange similar stories about the glass ceiling halting their development into first team players.

Mention the Fulham Academy and Celtic fans will think of Patrick Roberts, Moussa Dembele and Matt O’Riley and say ‘next please’.

On the other hand Joey Dawson rejoined Scunthorpe yesterday while Jonathan Afolabi is now playing for Kortrijk after his Celtic development plan stalled after loan moves to Ayr, Dundee and Airdrie.

At the age of 19 Osmand has spent his entire career inside the Fulham Academy who will pick up a compensation fee from Celtic.

What next is the big question, at Celtic he is likely to find game time similar to Johnny Kenny who will surely be moving out, permanently or on loan was Osmand arrives in Glasgow.

Should a formal arrangement be made with Queens Park a loan deal to the Championship side would seem a likely move after being assessed in pre-season training with Celtic.

A run of goals for Queens Park should put him in the frame for future game time at Celtic but since the sale of Kyogo Furuhashi in January there has been the expectation that Celtic will sign a ready made first team striker.

    Oily Burke.

Just can’t believe there’s another like him.

I’m mystified why anyone would give him pair boots..

He’s the worst alleged striker I’ve ever seen ANYWHERE.
