The wise men of the Rangers Rabble have been sharing their paranoia prompted by media blast from Dave Murray.
It a typical deflection exercise Murray told the hordes that Peter Lawwell wanted Rangers buried, that part of his memoirs is being accepted as gospel. Nothing could be further from the truth.
The reality is that the then CEO of Celtic was devastated at the loss of his O** F*** business partners in the summer of 2012.
Every possible effort was made to get a club from Ibrox into the SPL in 2012 but other clubs resisted the efforts with special credit due to SFL clubs who rejected a place in Division 1, now the Championship, with Charles Green’s club catapulted into League Three with trips to Peterhead and Annan.
The SPL salvaged the Five Way Agreement that prevented the stripping of titles won while using ineligible players, over time the SPFL, SFA and media partners quickly pretended that liquidation leaving 276 creditors high and dry never happened.
Lawwell proceeded to downsize at Celtic, appointing Ronny Deila as manager as he waited on the Tribute Act to reach the top flight.
They achieved that in 2016 but the appointment of Brendan Rodgers by Dermot Desmond kicked off the greatest period of domination that Scottish football has ever known.

Controlling Scottish football is a huge myth, if there was any truth in that John Beaton, Bobby Madden, Don Robertson, Steven McLean and Andrew Dallas wouldn’t be in control of refereeing issues.
The demise, administration and liquidation of Rangers was entirely down to Murray doing everything and more to stop Celtic from being successful. From 1998 Celtic had 10,000 more seats to sell with Murray turning to various scams to cover that huge hole in financing.
John Reid resigned from the Labour Government in May 2007, four years before Murray grabbed a pound from Craig Whyte’s palm, Reid never worked for HMRC.
It is true however that HMRC are an equal employee, it isn’t restricted to recruiting from the loyal Orange Order.
When the Sir of Lothian negotiated an EBT contract with an incoming player his agent “quite rightly” insisted on written proof of said payments, he was informed that this was illegal……
The Lothian victim of duplicity and his ego overlooked this professional advice and used the illegal remuneration system for a further decade……

Since they are all up in arms about PL supposedly wanting to bury Rangers, any of the permanently bewildered making any noise about their chairman deliberately trying to bury Airdrie by withholding payments that could’ve saved them?

At least the Murray interview has trashed the klanbase survival lie, liquidation is getting mentioned more in the news alongside new klub , so it’s getting aired again almost 13 years after the klanbase claimed the klub was relegated , the gift that keeps on giving, even from the grave HH.

They are correct, EBT’s aren’t illegal if they are set up correctly but RFC’s weren’t.
Payment from an EBT is discretionary however players or their agents were not going to accept that, so that is why they came up with the secret side letters guaranteeing payment. When payment from a supposedly discretionary fund is guaranteed then it isn’t an EBT, it’s a salary and therefore liable for tax.
They were stupid then and they are stupid now.
