The Russell Martin Revolution got off to a shaky start as a team including James Tavernier, Robin Propper, Jefte, Liam Kelly and Danilo were beaten 1-0 at Murray Park by The New Saints.
It could have been worse had the Welsh side played their first team who had drawn 1-1 on Friday against Ayr United.
It is understood that Andrew Cavenagh and Paraag Marathe did not attend the match.
The Daily Record is refusing to comment on the match but does have an exciting story of the San Francisco 49ers making a £22m deal which has zero relevance to Martin and his serial flops.

Loan signing Max Aarons wasn’t selected but hopefully watched the match to see the level of competition that he is up against to earn a place in the Russell Revolution!
In just over three weeks time Panathinaikos visit Ibrox in a Champions League second round qualifier.
On Monday international stars John Souttar, Connor Barron, Cyriel Dessers and Nicky Raskin begin pre-season training as Martin discovers just how limited his squad is.
Tavernier was believed to be disappointed by the result but has vowed to bounce back because his club is all about winning.
So the back line that you will use all season? Good to know ?…….I’m sure that not focusing on the defense won’t come back to haunts yous all season long.

The manager says……… OM!
Russell Martin’s star players Ridvan Yilmaz, Ben Davies, Jose Cifuentes, Nedim Bajrami, Rabbi Matondo were an obvious miss to the team.
