With virtually nothing happening in relation to Celtic signing new players why not Taj Buchanan?
Apart from a brilliant name the Canadian internationalist has the sort of profile that might appeal to whoever is in charge of recruitment at Celtic.
With 46 caps and five international goals the 26-year-old team-mate of Alistair Johnston will certainly feature in the data and analysis that Celtic call on for transfer activity. He is a pacey right-winger.
These days a whisper can quickly snowball, especially in the early weeks of June with the Buchanan rumour surfacing on Kerrydale Street on Saturday evening.
That was enough to create some chat with You Tube turning up some impressive footage.
Buchanan has just finished a four month loan spell at Villarreal where he started in 13 matches in La Liga on the back of six games in Serie A for Inter.
His move to Europe at Club Brugge in January 2022 hasn’t quite worked out but generally you have to have something about you to get game time in Spain and Italy.
