Celtic appear to be installing new look dug-outs for the new season.
A picture of the pitch, still undercover, surfaced in Twitter on Sunday night with some work going on in the dug-out area.
Now required to seat the best part of 20 people that area of the stadium is one of the most viewed on television coverage with some subtle advertising now in place on the frame and seating.
Celtic’s set up seemed modern enough but with a bulging bank balance it looks like there will be an upgrade in place for next month’s friendly at home to Newcastle United.

The pitch now appears to undergo annual maintenance that involves a degree of re-seeding of the hybrid surface.
As usual fans are left in the dark to speculate over these minor issues with communications from the club virtually non-existent.
Since the season ended on May 24 official club content is almost all related to sales and merchandise.
Along London Road a brand new training complex at Barrowfield has been under construction for some time, so far this year the club hasn’t made any comment on when it will open or provided footage of the facilities which includes a full size indoor pitch.
Remember Joe that the Celtic Board are not Celtic fans.
They don’t like the manager, the players and can’t stand the fans….

This is why we need a ” fan advisory board” but under lawel not a chance the guy been caught lying umpteen times! Especially on resolution 12. We should be building a new main stand!! To complete a symmetrical stadium, Fergus built 3 stands in 4 years lawell overseen nothing in 22 !!
A real ceo would be on this decades ago! Could be hotel and museum build with said stand but under dermot and these imposters not a chance! A disgraceful situation not unless they going oversee a brand new ground but there is no chance of that happening with these risk averse chancers!
Though. as David Low told us few days ago they doing up boxes in main stand, all while people still watch at each corner with two massive support structures obstructing their views embarrassing! As is the antiquated facilities in main stand

What about the astro turf around the outside of the pitch ? That has seen better days too ? It looks like a well walked on carpet with thousands of manky footwear causing havoc to its pile ? It ought not to cost the earth to rip up and renew ?

Nor have they let on about the cost of the upgrade and refurbishment of the 15 executive boxes at the rear of the south stand which is currently going on !
Like the comments about new configuration of main stand and other components like the new facilities at Barrowfield.
We are lucky if we get a lick of paint for the toilets! The Board are a disgrace to a club of Celtic’s stature.

It’s a old dated stadium compared to the epl stadiums, did the tour a few weeks ago god it’s really shabby all done on the cheap . That board room and cups displays are also 1980 that old stand needs rebuilt I think it’s listed don’t know why” what happened to the hotel complex etc more clap trap from lawel.
