Peterborough fans can hardly believe their luck at getting rid of Manny Fernabdez- and pocketing a fee for the centre half.
Despite finishing 18th out of 24 in League One it seems that The Posh have been nurturing a top class defender with Fernandez playing in 30 of last season’s 46 League One matches.
Peterborough lost 81 goals last season with only Crawley Town conceding more, all three of the teams relegated to League Two lost more goals that Fernandez’s side.
Despite all that the cutting edge stats used by the 49GERS has identified Fernandez as a rising star which sounds ominous for John Souttar, Robin Propper, Clinton Nsiala and Leon King.
We can confirm that defender Emmanuel Fernandez has joined Scottish Premier League side Glasgow Rangers for an undisclosed fee.

At the age of 23 Fernandez arrives at Ibrox with a CV that covers Sheppey United, Margate, Ramsdale and Spalding United- even James Tavernier will be having a giggle when he reads that.
Over the next few days the media messengers will be digging out all sorts of upbeat quotes about the star defender, hopefully he’ll make his debut against Panathinaikos on July 21 as the Russell Revolution faces up to reality rather than spin, hype and soundbites.

Looks like they are underestimatung what it’s going to take in this league. English championship journeymen and League 1 hopefuls won’t cut it. They haven’t learnt a thing over the last few seasons. They are going to clear out deadwood for new deadwood.
