Celtic’s B team drew 3-3 away to Civil Service Strollers in the Lowland League last night.

The match was goal-less at the break but the visitors took the lead through Tam Hatton in the 49th minute with Emmanuel Obidwe adding a second on the hour mark.

Marc Laird and an own goal from Cole Crawford levelled the scores by the 68th minute but Hatton restored Celtic’s lead in the 74th minute with the home side levelling four minutes later through Tuacenio Dos Santos.

After that exchange of goals there was no further scoring, leaving Celtic with four points from their opening two matches, trailing Caledonian Braves and Clydebank, the only clubs with full points.

Coverage on the Celtic website and on X/Twitter from the club is very limited.

On Friday Celtic B are away to Cumbernauld Colts with that match being played at Broadwood with a 7.45pm kick off.

So far Josh Clarke has gone on loan to Partick Thistle with Jude Bonnar and Kyle Ure teaming up at Ayr United.

Joe McHugh has edited Video Celts since 2010, every day covering events in and around Scotland's most successful club.

When a six year stretch at the Sunday Mirror came to an end it was clear that the future was digital, print had ran its race.

Smart phones and social media created a new landscape, Video Celts has certainly made an impact with Joe described as having an unhealthy obsession by Peter Lawwell at the 2024 Celtic AGM. A priceless endorsement.

There are issues breaking around the clock, no two days are the same. More than 50 years on from his first match Joe is enjoying the ongoing successes of Celtic.
