Reo Hatate appeared to play a full part in training today as the full Celtic squad returned to Lennoxtown.

The midfielder played in every single match last season up until the penultimate SPFL Premiership fixture at Pittodrie when he was on the receiving end of a brutal foul from Pape Gueye.

Instantly it looked bad, the Dons forward followed through making contact on Hatate’s leg from the knee downwards.

After the match the midfielder was ruled out for the rest of the season which only amounted to 10 days, of more concern was if the injury was going to eat into the 25/26 season.

With Jota out until much later this year Celtic were suddenly without their two most creative influences, midfield options were reduced from five to four.

The SNS agency were given fill access to training at Lennoxtown allowing fans to check on who is there and who is missing.

Cameron Carter-Vickers is apparently working indoors in the gym but one image showed Hatate in a typical pose, shielding the ball from Ben McPherson.

Celtic face Cork City tomorrow night with the prospect of Hatate, Daizen Maeda and Ben Nygren being involved.

Marco Tilio and Kwon Hyeok-kyu were also pictured but face an uphill task trying to find their way into the squad with a combined 28 minutes playing time for Celtic over the last two seasons.

You certainly won’t see fuckin green ones at the bastion of bigotry that is Liebrox for sure…

I’m glad we can rise above the pettiness of the club that’s 12 years and 343 days old as of today !
