There was further bad news for Hamza Igamane as Lille spent €7m on Felix Correia from Portuguese side Gil Vicente.
Having already invested a small fortune on Oli Giroud it is unlikely that they still have Dembele Dollars left over to sign the rising star of Ibrox.
Last month it was widely reported that Igamane had agreed personal terms to join the French club but that news was instantly greeted with claims that negotiations begin with a bid of £20m with world record add-ons.
Lille didn’t even bother putting in a formal offer, Igamane eventually returned to Scotland following a ‘visa issue’ but hasn’t been training with the main group of Russell Martin’s squad.

Igamane is only one year into a five year contract following his £1.7m move from FAR Rabat of Morocco who are believed to have a 30% sell on clause on the striker.
It looks like Cyriel Dessers will lead the line against Panathinaikos leaving the £20m striker on the sidelines waiting for his chance to impress his new manager.
So far none of last season’s contracted serial losers have been sold despite the promises of a clear out.
Naebdys paying a HAEPNY fur this DUD LOL! Every Yrs the same..Hun Scottish Meeja pushing fur their Fav Cheating Bastard Club with NAE Success, it’s a wee Crying Shame BAWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! 🙂 🙂
Lol so Dessers and Igamane both been left out of these pre-season friendlies so no match fitness as both ain’t been training with the sevco squad, then they might get papped in at the last minute to play against the Greek side in this champions league qualifier probably unfit.
BOOM!
Was listening to SSB the other night auld Tenamen panties aka Spew Heevins was screaming from the rooftops about the money Celtic have in the bank and that they should be spending most of that on big transfer fees for players to come to the club if they want to qualify for the champions league.
That’s funny that because the same guy and his pals in the press are all excited about the signings sevco are making be that players on loan or others on a free transfer or just others getting picked up for few nickel&dimes can get sevco into the champions league,so how come we need to spend mega millions but sevco do it with players on the cheap from second and third tier leagues in England and Europe.
Well he has a point about us. We have been needing a couple of centre haufs for zonks, a Broony type in the mid and a striker If we want to progress.
Who give a fck aboot them.
His point was we need to spend a fortune to progress but sevco can progress on the cheap, you can’t have your cake and eat it.
