It seems that overdosing on Deludemol and some closed doors friendlies have given Craig the confidence that Danilo is about to come good following his £6m transfer from Feyenoord in 2023.

By default Danilo will start tonight’s Champions League qualifier at home to Panathinaikos.
With AEK Athens offering him a lucrative contract Cyriel Dessers returned to pre-season injured, Hamza Igamane found time during the summer to negotiate a contract with Lille but failed to renew his visa to work in the UK.
Dessers and Igamane aren’t ready to play 90 minutes but born again Kieran Dowell is apparently flying after an outstanding season.
So far none of last season’s serial losers have been sold- Robin Propper, Ben Davies, Rabbi Matondo and Ridvan Yilmaz have been left out of the Champions Laegue squad.
Dowell, James Tavernier and John Souttar are all into the final year of their Ibrox contracts.
