Marco Tilio could be on his way to join Rapid Vienna.
Two years after joining Celtic from Melbourne City the winger has played just 28 minutes of competitive action for the hoops over two substitute appearances, followed by two stints back on loan at Melbourne City.
Tilio has taken part in Celtic’s pre-season training and the last three friendlies but it is unlikely that he has done enough for Brendan Rodgers to drop his interest in signing replacements for Nicolas Kuhn and the injured Jota.

Sky Sports Austria reports:
According to Sky information, SK Rapid is  about to sign Marco Tilio.
The nine-time Australian international is set to join Hütteldorf on loan from Scottish record champions Celtic Glasgow, with an option to buy. However, according to Sky, a permanent transfer is still being discussed.
The 23-year-old winger is expected to add depth to the Green-Whites’ attacking play. Tilio was most recently loaned to Melbourne City for two seasons, where he scored five goals and provided as many assists in 19 appearances in the last A-League season.
Tilio returned to Celtic for pre-season training with the suggestion that he would rather continue his career in Europe than return to Melbourne for another loan spell.
Moving to Rapid Vienna would provide him with the sort of platform his career needs, somewhere between A-League and Celtic standards.
Celtic’s contact with Rapid over Nicolas Kuhn would suggest that another deal could be done but it could be put on hold until Rodgers brings in another winger.

Another one off the wage bill hopefully !
