Jack Butland has called on his Ibrox team-mates to get the finger out!
The former Crystal Palace reserve was chosen to speak to club media after the 1-1 draw away to Motherwell with the home side dominating the second half and getting their reward with an 87th minute equaliser through Emmanuel Longelo.
Butland has apparently been reborn, again, under the new management, rediscovering his famed arrogance and conceit and the joy of being interviewed about his own brilliance.
James Tavernier spoke to Sky Sports after the 1-1 draw, at the same time Butland was exempting himself from criticism and pointing the finger of blame elsewhere in the dressing room.
The way the manager wants to play works, IT can work, but it needs everyone’s buy in, we didn’t do that today. I thought we were we weren’t at it enough and that’s the minimum requirement of any football team.
If you want to be successful, which I believe we can be, then it requires more than that today. So in the end we just got  what we deserved, it wasn’t good enough.
When things are difficult you’ve got to stand up and get your chest out and you get to get on with it, we need to start winning games and doing it in a convincing way.
You know, in a sort of deliberate fashion with a with real performances, real effort, but it just didn’t feel like we were quite where we needed to be today and that’s just the reality of it. There’s no point sugar coating it. It wasn’t good enough.
So people need to people need to pull the finger out. As as a squad, we need to set that out and push people. But understand if there’s anybody that didn’t understand what this club’s about, then the response at the end (from the fans) is everything you need to know about what’s expected of you.Â
Butland will be at Murray Park today preparing for Tuesday’s Champions League qualifier at home to Viktoria Plzen, working with the team-mates that he believes let down the club at Motherwell.

I’m sure it was Terry McCann co-commentating on the game last night screaming for a handball against Motherwell at the equaliser.
Funny how things all fall into line for anyone connected with the sevco klub,McCann back at Sky and BBC,Wee Benny back at the daiky sevco with his weekly take on things,wee Quark aka Alex Rae get a gig at Thistle.

So we got it from the horse’s mouth last night then,the sevco manager himself only 1 bid has come in for a player Dessers,so now all that SHITE about the Morrocan Messi going to Lille for £15-20 million is just lies made up by the Scottish ARSEHOLES in the media.

Remember away back at the end May and the season ending, there was articles every day in the daily sevco newspaper and other media outlets in Scotland bragging about £100 million bang bangs heading ibrox way in transfer fees for 4 players,wee Ronaldo Raskin,the Morrocan Messi,the new Roberto Carlos Jefte(aye tay F**K) and Dessers.
Everyone of them is still there,not a nickel or a dime has been collected for their services.
You were the one covering them and reporting them rumors yourself. Fact is not one rumor you came up with stuck. Give it away

We’ve all played for teams at some level, and a couple of basic points jump out;
1) The goalkeeper just doesn’t get to call out the team.
(And especially after conceding a goal himself.)
2) Only your best players (who still played well in a disappointing result) have the credibility to criticise – and you listen.
Butland seems to be playing on his 9 England caps from over 7 years ago: he’s nowhere near as good as he thinks he is.
A poor player calling out the team would get the piss taken out of him and/or suffer a sore face in the changing room!
Butland has done nothing to improve squad harmony, that’s for sure… 🙂
And a keeper who is playing pretty poor himself would get the lies taken out of him for criticising his team mates
and/or get a sore face in the changing room!
