It only took a 3-0 win over a minor Czech side and the signing of two wingers to get Hugh Keevins’ heart pumping a little faster.
For well over a decade he has been sitting in a studio in Clydebank hoping for the revival of his beloved O** F*** only to witness from afar the greatest period of domination that Scottish football has ever witnessed.
Out on the reporters beat Keevins drooled at having access to Sir Walter, Alistair, Mr Wallace, Sir John Greig, the Little General and whoever else made it up the marble staircase to sit in Mister Struth’s decrepit office.
The good old days came to a grinding halt in 2012 when Rangers died, most of the reporters that drooled over having Sir David’s phone number have moved on but Keevins continues to live in hope for a revival of the good old days.
Auld shug getting eaten alive there, must’ve been painful for his colleagues to sit there & watch it happen

One performance from Oliver Antman against Viktoria Plzen was enough to convince Keevins that the natural order would be returned- he could get his own back on all those Celtic fans that have gloated at his misfortune as the trophies piled up for Scotland’s most successful club.
Antman did a disappearing act against Dundee, a team managed by Steven Pressley that has already lost to Airdrie, Alloa and Hibs this season.
With Super Scoreboard now on seven days a week there are extra shifts for Keevins to pick up as he demonstrates how detached he has become from the realities of Scottish football.

Is that twat still in a job ?….What a FUD he is.
Tune in tomorrow night – He will be devastated so he will !
This guy that wants us all to believe Peter Lawwell has nothing to do with transfers because he told him so
Keevins is the anti-christ of football predictions and player profiling.
I can think of no other pundit in the game here who gets it consistently wrong.
Even in live games he starts crowing only to be made look like the doddery auld twat he is before the whistle blows.
Keevins doesn’t make predictions, he doesn’t recognise good or even bad players, every single comment he makes is based on Celtic being 2nd, its all wishing and hoping, there’s zero insight or objectivity in it, he’s just prepared to make a complete cnut of himself week in week out in the hope that one time….just one time he will be correct.
And he gets paid for that.
He is, by a country mile, the worst pundit in the game here.
But Hugh knows, without all the pro Sevco anti Celtic rhetoric he wouldn’t be relevant, the paycheques would dry up.
And thats what makes him different to the rest, he sold out his journalistic professionalism a long time ago.
“he sold out his ” “journalistic professionalism ” ” a long time ago.
Now you are having a laugh. He didn’t have any to start with.
I feel sorry for the Care Home who gets him.
