  1. Is there some obscure archaic rule which states that all player transactions completed on the last day of the Summer window gets the club a huge tax relief ..or a big bucks rebate ? I know that sounds nutty , but there has to be something advantageous to ‘ the greys ‘ for their continuous lack of activity …every single season ? I’m not buying the ‘ lack of ambition ‘ from the board horse manure , but I’m knackered with a capital ‘F ‘ for the answer . It has to come out with the washing ..one of these days ? Has to !

  2. I know it’s a trophy, and an element in a treble, but I’d play the B team tomorrow night.

  3. If no new signings come in…and we go out of the CL…it will be very interesting to see how the support reacts…Oh there will be thousands of keyboard warriors crying for vengeance…but will the faithful through and through brigade stay silent ??…I think we all know the answer to that.

    1. The biggest problem with this situation is not Rodgers, let’s just say for a minute he’s gone next season.

The biggest problem for me is our new manager is watching this !!!!!

Fourth choice it is then !!!!

  4. i posted this elsewhere, I would be interested in what anyone is planning to mobilise the dissparate Celtic supporters into an organisation for change ? anyone ?

I wish I had the answers as to how you can change the status quo at CP,

    ——————————–

the answer is always the same.

agitate and protest, turn up and be heard. akin to celts for change, save our celts,
but most of all unite behind a cause and find the appropriate leaders to follow.

what it definately is not, is a group of on;line mouth pieces, producing blogs and podcasts several times a day, that might be read by a few thousands people (all the smae individuals btw, i can read several dozen articles a day across many platforms) but are completely ineffectual at championing change.

the bloggers will hate this – but – you have to take lessons from business and change management.

If Joe and James turned up at Celtic park with a trestle table, and gathered signatures calling for change, great. If Erik could go round the Irish clubs and find shareholders to get them motivated that would be good.

If they could get their collective total readers and listerners to march behind a themed protest, then that would be a start.

    But that leadership isnt there.
The voices wont be heard. A shout in the car park at st mirren or a silly question at the AGM, doesnt mean anything.

Posting on blogs, myself included is as relevant as writing to the letters page in the old evening times.

Change happens when people are involved in the processes.

Where are the modern McCanns, McGlones and Orrs amonst the blogs, they dont exist.

  5. I’d have to say that’s one of your better ones, stivs.
To effect change it’s essential to have a) the target (the board) so that’s done.
    b) Sufficient stubborn protesters organised into a coherent group and prepared to stay the distance until change (the board) happens.
BUT, it would ALL be in vain if they were replaced by similar parasites, leeches and fleas.
The old ‘be careful what you wish for’ craic applies here. So it’s not just “Celts for change” it’s Sack The Board and replace them with Tims, true Fenians. I truly believe we’ve got the numbers, it’s the big question of organisation as you pointed out.

  6. Don’t make it past the qualifier due to THEIR sheer incompetence and and Maeda will be getting punted , that’s why we’re starting to hear the rumours now

    Absolute wankers

  7. NOTorious is a very apt description for something that is NOT happening !
