Russell Martin is facing an anxious wait to discover the extent of the injury to Cyriel Dessers.

The Ibrox striker had been upto his usual theatrics of feigning injury through the Champions League qualifier away to the Czech side.

Early in the second half Dessers threw his head back over an imaginary slap to the face, to exaggerate the contact he then threw himself to the ground.

In doing so he appears to have seriously twisted his right knee, hitting the deck with a real injury. Self inflicted.

After a four minute stoppage Dessers left the pitch, replaced by Danilo, he left the stadium wearing a knee brace.

So far the Martin Revolution has yet to buy a striker, Dessers and Danilo have shared duties with just a 15 minute run out for Hamza Igamane so far since Martin took over.

With less than three weeks to go in the transfer window the 49GERS will have to move fast with Ollie McBurnie and Josh Windass recently signing up for Hull City and Wrexham.
