Samuel Isiguzo scored an impressive solo goal during Celtic’s 3-2 win over Tranant in the Lowland League.
Celtic were leading 2-1 thanks to a double from Rhys Dargie off the right wing when the ball fell to captain Isiguzo at the edge of the penalty box.
Tranent weren’t happy with the way that the ball was brought under control but despite highlighting the moment on their You Tube video the incident was inconclusive.
Isiguzo did raise his right arm but it looked like it was to get maximum use of his chest and shoulder, what happened next can’t be doubted.
40 seconds for Isiguzo goal
Using his right foot the Celtic midfielder dribbled past three defenders and the Tranent goalkeeper before beating one more defender inside the six yard box to find the net.
The Tranent players and management weren’t happy that the goal stood but the level of skill from Isiguzi can’t be questioned.
Former Celt Brogue Watson came off the bench to pull a goal back for Tranent but Celtic held on to the points.
After four matches in the Lowland League Celtic have eigh points and a goal difference of 12-10.
On Saturday Celtic B are away to Linlithgow Rose in the Lowland League.

Was Liewell at the game , perhaps he might get a few bargains from the Tranent team ?
Our ‘developing’ players by playing in the Lowland League is testimony that the only time Celtic PLC is “world class in everything we do” is limited to the amout of money the parasites, leeches and fleas suck from, what should be for team improvement but in fact is only for their benefit. A shower of rats like no other.
Oh, FANTASTIC goal, btw!
