Celtic’s attempt to sell Europa League tickets has been met with anger and criticism.

Over the last four weeks hostility to the club has come together to set up the Celtic Fans Collective to articulate the calls for change.

Typically the club has battened down the hatches, refused to communicate or explain other than the usual requests for even more money.

Failure to beat Kairat Almaty resulted in demotion to the Europa League, as ever ticket sales are seen as a money spinner but it appears that the board has pushed some supporters too far.

Season Ticket holders were able to their four tickets for £35 per match without a booking fee, the payments will be taken shortly before each match without a booking fee.

Season Ticket holders that passed up on that will now be charged £40.50 per match to watch an under strength squad that Brendan Rodgers is trying to knit together.

First up is SC Braga next Thursday with a 5.45pm kick off, with the three other home matches stretching into January.

This afternoon Celtic can start to tap into the fabled ‘Waiting List’ with some claiming that there are 18,000 waiting to buy up a Season Ticket.

How many are prepared to spend £45 plus a £1.50 booking fee will soon become clear, the reaction on line suggests that there will be thousands of empty seats next week for the visit of Braga.

When a six year stretch at the Sunday Mirror came to an end it was clear that the future was digital, print had ran its race.
Smart phones and social media created a new landscape, Video Celts has certainly made an impact with Joe described as having an unhealthy obsession by Peter Lawwell at the 2024 Celtic AGM. A priceless endorsement, cheers big man.
There are issues breaking around the clock, no two days are the same more than 50 years on from his first match Joe is enjoying every success for Scotland's Most Successful Club.

You can ram your package right up your arse. We will bring you down fat cat’s. What a horrible board.

Roger Hannah is suggesting on line that there is a big waiting list for season tickets. I find this laughable. I have been a season ticket holder for many years now in the main stand and I can tell you that there are quite a number of seats that are not ST held. Where my friend is in the South stand, the situation is the same. Where my neighbour was in the Lisbon Lions stand, again there are many non ST seats. The same applies to the Jock Stein stand, where my former janitor sits.
So there have been non ST seats available. The large waiting list seems to be a myth in order to scare present ST holders.
Are we supporting a club which is a stranger to the truth or is their a good explanation for that.

    I still don’t get it.

There was always the risk that the EL tickets wouldn’t sell well,

so why didn’t MN say something to camera, to try and start building bridges?

This continued silence ain’t going to help ticket sales – or club profits!

In a parallel universe, PL & MN are running a profitable, ambitious football club

which regularly performs well in Europe,

and they engage with the support on a personal level at every opportunity…

Be careful what gets posted when dishing out criticism of our club, people on here don’t like it and then accuse people of being Huns in disguise.

I posted earlier having a dig at Ferguson and his minnions in his coaching team and it got binned.

And yet others have come on this blog and said worse with the post unedited.
