  1. The best remedy is to come out fighting by beating Kilmarnock convincingly …. that’ll shut up all the scoops who were laughing up their sleeves at any breakdown between ‘ the greys ‘ of the board and Brendan Rodgers ! They were like pigs in manure today …..

  2. BR now needs his players to step up.
If they have even a shred of respect for the manager, they know what needs to be done.
    Convincing performances from here on.
They deliver that, and everything else will fall into place.
They don’t, and the ammo is there for the suits.

  3. Unless I misunderstood,

my take was that BR was pointing the finger at PL, and that he should resign?

BR mentioned DD & MN a couple of times, but not PL [unless I missed that?].

Even if that was BR’s intention, it still doesn’t shed a good light on MN,

who, by default, is PL’s puppet?

However, pleasantly surprised that BR has said that in a presser: interesting.

    1. Bob, that was exactly my take on things. Brendan’s best presser ever by a country mile.
I’ve dreamt of Lawwell being forced to move, ejected from the club under a massive, black cloud and I think it is now distinctly possible. Bloody hell and Mandelson got binned too.
Fantastic, just fantastic to see Karma the bitch show her teeth!

  4. Don’t think BR would have been so frank unless he had already received assurances (DD) that the ”cowardly” board member was for the high-jump.
