Celtic appear to be in panic mode with the club delaying the upload of today’s dramatic media conference by Brendan Rodgers.
UPDATE: At 6.26, more than three and a half hours after the conference finished Celtic uploaded the explosive media conference, half an hour after this story was published.
The Celtic boss tackled every issue head on with the highlight late on when he accused whoever is briefing The Sun about him of a cowardly act.
The big names at Sun Sport all avoided today’s media conference with Craig Turnbull, described as an Online Sports reporter covering the story probably remotely.
Normally Celtic will have the two media conferences on their You Tube channel by 3pm, allowing fans to see the unedited version before it is manipulated by their business partners.
Callum McGregor’s media conference was up sharpish for fans to view free of charge but with Rodgers finishing up at 2.45pm at 5.45 the video had still to be uploaded to the club’s You Tube channel.

Do you back the 12th man protest at Kilmarnock?
YES- Action has to be taken
No- never harm the team
The Celtic Way, part of the Newsquest/Herald group provided almost quote by quote coverage of today’s conference with Sky Sports broadcasting some clips throughout the afternoon.
Social media shared the content far and wide with fans delighted by the reaction of Rodgers who won’t be resigning despite the Celtic source telling The Sun that the hoops boss was trying to engineer his exit.
Nothing could be further from the truth!
Celtic’s Communication Manager, Ian Jamieson was missing from today’s media conference, it seems that the club has decided to bring in professionals to dig themselves out of the hole that they have dug for themselves with their contempt for the manager and supporters.
Rodgers called for the resignation of the person that provided The Sun with their story, Michael Nicholson has yet to respond to that, maybe he is waiting on instructions from his closest friend.

The best remedy is to come out fighting by beating Kilmarnock convincingly …. that’ll shut up all the scoops who were laughing up their sleeves at any breakdown between ‘ the greys ‘ of the board and Brendan Rodgers ! They were like pigs in manure today …..
BR now needs his players to step up.
If they have even a shred of respect for the manager, they know what needs to be done.
Convincing performances from here on.
They deliver that, and everything else will fall into place.
They don’t, and the ammo is there for the suits.
Unless I misunderstood,
my take was that BR was pointing the finger at PL, and that he should resign?
BR mentioned DD & MN a couple of times, but not PL [unless I missed that?].
Even if that was BR’s intention, it still doesn’t shed a good light on MN,
who, by default, is PL’s puppet?
However, pleasantly surprised that BR has said that in a presser: interesting.
Bob, that was exactly my take on things. Brendan’s best presser ever by a country mile.
I’ve dreamt of Lawwell being forced to move, ejected from the club under a massive, black cloud and I think it is now distinctly possible. Bloody hell and Mandelson got binned too.
Fantastic, just fantastic to see Karma the bitch show her teeth!
Don’t think BR would have been so frank unless he had already received assurances (DD) that the ”cowardly” board member was for the high-jump.
That’s a good point Micheal – And hopefully it comes to fruition !
That’s the beauty of Karma,Tic Toc……..She NEVER forgets an address !!!
