In their desperate attempts for clicks and relevance the Daily Record has been suggesting that Michael Nicholson will be interviewed by Sky Sports tomorrow!
After four years in the job as CEO the ‘leading sports lawyer’ has yet to pluck up the courage to go through a scripted in-house interview with Gerry McCulloch.
The prospect of even soft soap questioning from Sky Sports can be completely discounted. Chances are that Nicholson is out of Scotland on holiday.

How happy are you with Celtic's summer 2025 transfer business?
Wonderful- great business completed
Horrific- changes must now be made
The prospect was discussed on the Record Hotline tonight between Daniel Caw and Keith Jackson as if it could happen.
Nicholson has spent the last four years hiding in the shadows at Celtic Park but the fall out from the transfer window has made him the target for much fan anger.
All branches and elements of the support with the exception of Korean Quick News has given their support to a Green Brigade statement looking for answers from the CEO about the direction that the club is moving.
In his one and only media interview, in June 2023 when he shared a platform with Brendan Rodgers and Peter Lawwell the Celtic CEO revealed that the ambitions of the club was to be world class in everything that they do.
Aside from deflecting questions to others at the AGM Nicholson’s most notable contribution was answering ‘penalty to Rangers’ when questioned about decisions from John Beaton.
At the 2024 AGM Nicholson was asked to name the last player to come through the Academy to start a competitive match, he didn’t have a clue that it was Owen Moffat in December 2021, after 62 minutes playing time Moffat never played again for Celtic.

Total bullshit he’s been spotted playin hide and seek in Gaza city
A Coupon u’d NEVER tire ae Skelpin! He cdny name WAN player from the team as he’s NEVER there! A SMUG TORY B***ARD!!
We would have a better chance of seeing Lord Lucan riding Shergar with the Invisible Man riding side saddle around George Square than that Piranha do an interview.
Nicholson to busy being on the dark Web.
If he thinks a one off interview is going to pacify the fans he is fucking delusional!!!
No ifs about it! He is delusional!
Lives in his own little comfortable world far away from the stresses and troubles of others whom he could not give a damn about.
Hi joe. Are you gonna keep using the same shite photo of Nicholson?
Editor- there are a few, this one is very popular, cheers mate.
I agree Joe! This one shows him in a certain light which befits the way we see him.
Lol Paul Tisdale the go between the fans and the board, even Paul Daniels couldn’t work his magic on our board.
Aye that’s his photo he uses on the dark Web.
If this comes to fruition it will be funnier than watching Keith jackson interviewing craig whyte. And like that scenario, it’s pure fantasy. It’ll be some whishy washy pre-filmed sentence about ‘engaging with fans’ sometime in the future by the in house media and fed to sky. The narrative is already ahead of them
Sky Sporrs better have someone who is fluent mute to interview this waste of space !!!
I think his comment on Penalty to Rangers has done the world of good as it was the Comment the SFA couldn’t ignore. Gollum then got the job as Referees supremo and the Penalties were soon drying up. The only contribution he has made though.
Editor: The SFA took no action on the hilarious ‘penalty to Rangers’ they know that Nicholson is utterly harmless, a token comment while they stitch Celtic up with Dallas and Aitken on VAR with Beaton, Dickinson, Robertson and McLean on the grass.
