Ibrox fans face a ticket ban for a future European away matches if they let off flares at any UEFA match in the next two years.
That suspended sentence comes on top of the closure of the Copland Stand if there is a repeat of the racism rgar was on show in last season’s match at home to Fenerbahce.
Of course in Scotland under the SFA they have free reign to do as they please, the regular throwing of glass bottles at Celtic players hasn’t resulted in a comment never mind a charge from Ian Maxwell and the gang inside Hampden Park.
Rangers have been fined €20,000 and banned from selling away tickets in UEFA competition after the ‘lighting of fireworks’ away to Club Brugge.
The ban on selling tickets to away supporters is suspended during a probationary period of two years from the date of the decision.

The latest action comes from the defeat in Brugge where the club was 5-0 down at half time with the away support trying to leave the stadium.
A banner reading COWARDS was displayed as Russell Martin’s players acknowledged the remaining fans after the match.
With a clamp on racism and flares much of the matchday fun is being removed with these issues nothing to do with Paddy and Kev the CEO and Sporting Director.
It is interesting Joe that the SFA have never punished this club or their fans for their general disgusting racism, bigoted behaviour, thuggery against visiting supporters, throwing of missiles at players etc etc.. This tells you much about the SFA and I believe the SFA are not fit for purpose and we have seen how Fergus had to deal with them when he was here.
There are some really decent supporters among the Ibrox support, but they are vastly outnumbered at matches and thus reluctant to go against the grain in case they are a target of abuse.
Nothing being done about the attacks on players and staff is another fact of dereliction of duty by the invisible man.

And right on cue The S*n – Scottish version – while reporting theRangers suspended sentence had to throw in Celtic FC in comparison with a similar penalty previously . Rather than focus on this latest pyro ban of Ibrox fans the rag just had to toss in Celtic almost like the’ one as bad as the other ‘ old chestnut tale of old ! This is Celtic’s new business partner and it can’t wait to cause disdain . You really could not make this up ..if you tried .
With regards to bottle/ glass incidents..Our Club said…??…YEP….Feck all once again…Not fit for purpose.
Neither Celtic or the SFA can say diddly squat publicly about Sevco fans & the club’s behaviour.
The 5WA has them bent over a barrel and royally fecked.
Until someone somewhere holds up their hands and admits the 5WA is a thing, and that it is causing harm to the game here, nothing will change.
They are all in it together and nobody has the minerals to out it for the good of the game.
Btw, to think that any member of any club signed up to the 5WA and didn’t give any thought to the fact that Sevco would use it as a stick to beat them with, tells tou all you need to know about who’s running the game here.

I intended to ask Mr.Lawwell what the details of the 5 way agreement were…But then I remembered …he hasn’t read it or indeed ..seen it…So that’s knackered that plan.
I have been posting on here and the Celtic blog for a number of months now maybe even the best part of a couple of a couple of years about protesting against the board and a boycotting of merchandise and got laughed off the forums and been accused of being a sevco fan.
Fast forward to now everyone is now thinking the sane as myself with boycotting merchandise and protests against the board in full flow.
