There are many reasons why Ian McColl is on the secondary rota of pundits for Sportsound on Radio Scotland.
Being one of Kenny Macintyre’s schoolboy heroes is obviously the main one, spending a couple of seasons at Ibrox under Graeme Souness is guaranteed to draw plenty of fawning attention from big Kenny.
If you can match that qualification up with being unable to ever say anything positive about Celtic you can rely on fairly regular appearances on Sportsound.
