Sheepishly in mid afternoon Celtic released pricing details for their four match Europa League campaign which starts with a 5.45 kick off against SC Braga on October 2.
Last season on September 2 Celtic were quick off the mark with a £184 offer to Season Ticket holders for their Champions League package.
On the surface the £11 discount per game looks quite generous but not put in context over a club swimming in money and about to make a huge payment to HMRC in Corporation Tax it looks very different as the reaction on social media demonstrated.
With Michael Nicholson selling off three of last season’s top scorers and bothching the transfer window £35 for any match is a big ask to fans who have generally paid in the region of £700 for a Season Ticket to 19 SPFL matches.
£35 per game, that’s a 45% increase on the £24 charged per game when we were last in the Europa League in 21/22, during that time the club accounts have shown over £100m in profit made. Plus you have an extra game on this package as opposed to last time. https://t.co/FvbOI0SDAV

Should Michael Nicholson be sacked as Celtic CEO?
No, trust his strategy
Yes, the sooner the better
Celtic’s clear lack of ambition on and off the pitch leads to questions of why they need to keep asking for more from supporters, there is no purpose to building the cash up other than to increase the bank balance.
Last night in Glasgow a meeting was held representing over 400 different supporter groups to discuss actions to remove Michael Nicholson, Peter Lawwell and Chris McKay due to their actions and inability to build on the successes of Ange Postecoglou and Brendan Rodgers.

Were you at meeting Editor ??
Prices up 45% !!!
I remember during COVID listening to people celebrating the government handing out “free” money to anyone/everyone
Roll forward 4 years and everyone is skint, wages devalued, savings stolen via inflation and the rich are richer than ever
They’re so rich they must feel untouchable, detached from the workers and economic reality, total geniuses they are…
when in fact they’re just profiting from a massive banking scam where the poor are being robbed via currency devaluation and pushed into debt slavery to keep the rich in the life they think they should be accustomed to. Thatcher’s legacy.
That might explain the actions of the Celtic board.
Can anyone tell me if anybody has tried to find out who the slekit wee rat was that stabbed Rodgers in the back with hi pathetic story of Rodgers trying to work his notice.i really think this guy needs to be exposed,so he can feel the full feelings of Celtic supporters because there can be no place at Celtic for a slekit wee reptile.
It was Pistol Pete.
Don’t be in any doubt.
Even the savings on a concession ticket wouldn’t get you a pint, they can shove it the fat cat arses, I’ll have six pints and a pudding supper and watch it in the pub
Calm down lads. We can be comforted by the fact that Lawwell & Co, having our best interest at heart, will be receiving VIP treatment at every game played this season. They will never spend a penny, of course, and will be gorging themselves on the best food and drink. No food banks for these feckers. What have they done to Walfrid’s club?
Hail Hail.
They have made Walfrid’s club the most successful one in Scotland Magua…
But I still despise the miserable bastards they they are…
Well actually more accurately Sevco kicking the bucket made them the most successful in Scotland…
Perhaps they want to send some of Walfrid’s charitable generosity towards paupers like Sevco…
It certainly fuckin well looks like it for sure !
