Six hours before kick-off in tonight’s match against Braga, Celtic have sent out a desperate plea to Season Ticket holders to take up their four match ticket offer.
Quite clearly, based on a range of events supporters are not interested in bolstering the coffers of a club that has given up any pretence of having footballing ambitions.
If they did Celtic wouldn’t be in the Europa League, they be in the real competition where their conquerors Kairat Almaty are on course for eight heavy defeats.
There was no sign of urgency from Michael Nicholson to strengthen the squad this year, suddenly the club’s social media activities are being cranked up in order to shift as many tickets as possible.
It is believed that since the defeat to Kairat Almaty that thousands of fans cancelled out of the Home Cup Ticket Scheme.

Season Ticket holders were able to secure their seat for the four matches for £140 with the payments taken in four stages, shortly before each matchday.
Once their deadline had passed the tickets went on general sale at £45 per match, no discounts for kids or pensioners, no four match packages available.
With the Celtic Collective gaining great momentum and a 5.45pm kick off there could be as many as 20,000 empty seats at tonight’s match.
The offer of a meeting with Michael Nicholson on Monday has resulted in the Collective canceling the silences planned tonight and on Saturday against Motherwell.
Having gained their first concession the credibility of the collective has grown, more serious concessions and resignations are required if the atmosphere at Celtic Park is to get anywhere close to the levels witnessed at five sell-out Champions League matches last season.

Corporate greed it’s a big surprise that they jump when you kick them in the bank account, they need to be broken don’t stop and keep the momentum going ,grab them by the balls (money) and they will follow
The email punting tickets arrived not long after the announcement of a truce between the Board and the “rebel alliance”.
I said last night this was a fob off and the email today has convinced me of that. The “look we’re talking so gonna buy the tickets” reeks of yet more arrogance from this Board.
Editor: The Collective won’t be fobbed off, stage 1 completed, any tricks from Nicholson and things will be escalated.
The collective has already been bought off if they accept an exquisite ghosting from a desperate board. We either want them out or we don’t. No gaslighting, sack the ficking bord and Rodgers, humiliated again in Europe. Get rid of them all. Next thing is the Huns do us again, if that happens we have to burn the place down.
Editor: No campaign is won after three match day protests. After years ignoring the fans Nicholson is reluctantly attending Monday’s meeting, the Collective are well ahead of schedule and deserve backing for getting so far so quickly.
