  1. Martin O’Neill definitely a board lackey, like Maloney and Lennon, disgusting behaviour from this shower of charlatans, and all O’Neill can do is try and crack stupid old not so funny stories, pathetic. The only way to get rid of this shower is cut off the money, don’t buy anymore Adidas merch and see how long it takes Adidas to start asking questions, this whole scenario with Rodgers and Kennedy stinks and that bile that golf heed desmond wrote is vindictive bullshit lies.I just hope Rodgers and Kennedy have not signed an NDA and we will get to the bottom of this.

    1. The only way there can be an NDA is if they decide to pay BR’s contract up to keep him quiet.
If you resign, u don’t get the remainder of your contract paid, so BR will be free to say what he pleases…….so I’m gonna take it for granted the suits will pay him.
As for DD’s input, the more I read it, the more it feels like a raging narcissistic rant by someone who always needs to be in control but has had it taken from him.

      1. Bhoy4life I’m sure BR is loaded he’s had at least 3 years on 3 million, plus all the money from Liverpool Leicester Celtic so he can’t be needing the money he should have told liewell and desmond, stick your money up your arse I ain’t signing no NDA.

  2. I watched that tv interview yesterday and thought Maloney looked absolutely terrified in front of the cameras. For all Celtic fans worldwide I hope we we win our match tonight and especially against Sevco at the weekend.

That statement issued by DD is his death knell. Guys like ‘The Kaizer’ operate under the radar. Any form of public/media scrutiny is like a stake through the heart of a vampire. Now every football fan on the planet knows who he is. Now every golf course, every building he walks into one of the staff will say “there’s that Celtic guy.”

Remember he was part of the Irish consortium which sold Man Utd to the Glazier family basically because of the publicity surrounding Alex Ferguson and the racehorse The Rock of Gibraltar which ended up in the Courts.

A couple of weeks ago one of the bloggers put up DD’s tee-off times at three different golf courses across the weekend of the Dunlop Cup. A stroke of genius (no pun intended) on their part. Imagine his state of mind, expecting Celtic fans to interrupt his game anytime during his rounds of golf. I fully expect DD to sell his Celtic shares asap and head for the hills.

Now it’s up to the Celtic Fan Collective to figure out how to take advantage of this and shape the Club’s future as a robust football club going forward.

They say that history repeats itself. Think back to when Fergus McCann took charge… almost the same scenario as today. We need to update the stadium and revitalise/renergise the Club from the top down. Fergus succeeded and I fully expect the Collective to do the same.

Fans have been frustrated by the style of play of Brendan Rodgers team of late but my main memory of Brendan is the manner in which he escorted an excited, young Celtic fan safely back to the terraces at the end of an away match a couple of seasons back and kept him out of the clutches of Police Scotland. Finally Martin O’Neil is nobody’s fool.

He repeated several times in the tv interview yesterday that if he can’t help improve the team results then he’s out the door.

  3. Fotheringham had a few games with Rangers as a young teenager while also playing for Celtic. No idea who recommended him for such a position on Celtic’s coaching staff.

Regards MON he had no qualms at signing for David O’Leary’s Leeds side after only ONE season at Celtic, before a change of heart meant he stayed longer. Then didn’t hang around when told the spending spree (In Celtic terms) was over. He is simply in place to try and soothe the support but if O’Neill or A.N.Other I highly doubt they will get £ 20-30m to spend in January which will be badly needed when Maeda & Hatate are shunted out the door

      1. He did. People are trying to rewrite history. Just like how John Kennedy has gone from villain to hero overnight because he resigned, something which fans have been wanting to happen for years.

  4. Willin’ to take the Rangers shillin’. Now he’s at Celtic? Someone could llive to regret it … !

  5. Fotheringham was Manager of Huddy Town (Huddersfield) a few years ago…

I’ve friends from that town who I meet for a few bevvy’s when the come up here on holiday and they said he was ‘awful’ and it was big celebrations in Huddersfield when he got the sack from Huddy Town after three months…

They said they could never understand his accent (wherever it’s from) !
