The Celtic Fans Collective have decided on a Not A Penny More campaign.
Other than match tickets the recently formed supporters group has urged fans to vote with their wallets.
A meeting was held in Glasgow last night that was open to the over 400 groups that have signed up to the Collective.
This morning, following votes at the meeting the Collective issued a decisive statement on Twitter/X.
Fans have been urged to stop spending on- merchandise, food and drink, stadium tours and club run events.

The main focus will be on the Adidas partnership with a new 10 year deal signed earlier this year.
An elite Spezial clothing range is about to be launched which includes a smock costing £230.
Unofficially it is believed that merchandise sales suffered a serious decline during September with fans switching off for a number of reasons.
A poor transfer window and failure in the Champions League qualifier against Kairat Almaty left supporters deflated.
When that happens they are less likely to go shopping with merchandise a significant area of club revenue.
In mid September Celtic announced record turnover of £143.6m with £77m sitting in the bank account.
Pricing of the Europa League matches has been criticised. Earlier this week the club introduced concession prices for Thursday’s match against Sturm Graz.
ON THE PARK
Celtic are in action at Dundee on Sunday with the Directors Box area fairly close to where the away supporters are seated.
After that attention will turn to the home match against Sturm Graz which will test the matchday income.
As well as the Superstore and retail outlets inside the stadium the club sells match programmes and tickets for the Paradise Windfall which pays out £10,000 at half time. Every income stream is monitored by the club.
Celtic have still to publish their full accounts and the date of the 2025 AGM.

Not before time , you will only get some attention if you hit them in the pocket , I had a birthday recently and I asked my son not to book the tour of the stadium, but if you really want to be heard seriously ( Don’t Buy Tickets For The Europa league games , there comes a time when you have to be cruel to be kind , I’m sure the team will respect that, I love my club and if you want change you need to go in hard HH .
I’m glad the consortium have upped the ante because the only way to get at these people is money money money. Did I say money ?
My only remaining concern is the objective, it needs to be clear……
AND ITS NOT !!!!!!
I still struggle with the fact that they were willing to sit a table to listen to the spin of people they want sacked !
It needs to be clear, do they want people sacked ?
Who do they want sacked ?
Will PL be enough ? Personally I think that will be easy he’s already left before !!
Or is this just to be able to get a pretend seat at the table. That’s just an extra meeting where nothing gets discussed.
It’s a fact that the current Celtic board are capable. It’s a shameful fact that they are capable of anything including harming Celtic to their own ends. That can’t be forgotten and it has to be communicated that change is all the fans are after and change is all we are prepared to accept.
There is no goodwill or good intentions or good faith to be had in that.
Sacked !! That’s it. No muddied signals !!!
I like the “Not a penny more” it has a ring to it.
For me it still stops short of “Don’t buy Adidas this Christmas”
Adidas remain the only external source where real pressure can be applied. The minute their Brand is mentioned the next minute they will act. It’s news worthy and sends a very serious message to them that “their”customers no longer wish to deal with their agents in the Celtic board.
Hopefully the tills not ringing as much will be enough to send a message but the moment the board will be assuring them that Christmas will be fine.
They’ll release a nice wee funny video and all will be fine cause wee Timmy will want a new strip.
I sincerely hope the consortium can regain the momentum it had before the meeting. I am already participating not buying merch.
Great job getting everyone together like this. I could become an incredibly powerful movement, if it remains independent of the club, uses it correctly and picks the right battles.
Pretty easy to work out why the leak is getting proper investigation, it’s either MN or PL, and since when did turkeys vote for xmas?
The bunnet got rid of leeches like this and sent the club on an upward trajectory that should be far in advance of where it is now, but unfortunately we have a board that have a parasitic twin called Sevco and an agreement that guarantees we will stymie our own progress to keep them relevant.
Celtic should be so far ahead of Sevco that they should be an irrelevance already, and by not even having to spend ourselves to oblivion, just by natural progression over their self inflicted regression.
But we aren’t, and quite simply those in charge are to blame, whether by accident or design.
It’s not arrogance to say the SPL title should be a given every season, cos it should, we all know it’s Europe we want to see progression, every fan knows there will always be limitations where that is concerned, but when you see clubs like Brugge, Ajax etc regularly navigating qualifying and actually getting into knock out rounds of the CL, you do ask yourself why aren’t Celtic able to compete like that?
We have beaten sides like Ajax, Copenhagen in group stages before, and then watched those same sides a season or 2 later make the knockout games while we never do?
What are they doing that we aren’t?
They sell players but always seem to come back stronger and still qualify.
Celtic take several seasons to build a squad that has an opportunity to qualify but never does, and often against inferior opposition.
It’s not only the board that need rooting out, it’s the whole coaching set up, it’s been jobs for the bhoys for as long as I can remember, old ideas and ways that aren’t fit for the modern game anymore.
They are all just far too comfy, we all get like that in our jobs when we know them inside out, but unfortunately comfy doesn’t get you into the CL, nor does it make you better.
Root & branch change, modern thinkers, top class coaches, decision makers not ditherers.
That’s what the club needs, and now.
Absolutely spot-on Bhoy4life in all aspects you have covered. An excellent set of comments.
Spot on Bhoy4life…
Clear the Boardroom of the chancers
NEDs turfed out and new set commissioned on 5 year maximum retainers.
Clear the Coaching staff off the rampant nepotism and cronyism. Future Appointments on merit only. Ex players will only be considered if they have the current accreditation for European licensing standards.
Ooooft! That statement was quite brutal: good.
And with a review date “in February” 🙂
Well, we’ve punted the ball [forward] to the Board,
and they simply can’t ignore that: the financials will persuade them
to make meaningful engagement with the support.
They have to avoid a Christmas with lots of unsold Adidas stock…?
And punting / retiring PL now – before any further discussions take place – might buy
the Board some much needed goodwill…?
It’s been a long time coming but it looks like the end for Lawwell and co.
They just can’t survive this if we all stand firm together.
Hail! Hail! The Glasgow Celtic FC, get the board replaced by Tims.
And no more meetings until sackings /resignations are announced.
Great post Bhoy4life October 17th 2025 @ 11.13am !
