2. European competition is gone for me now , no interest , and it will be gone for the fans and the club next year if we don’t invest in january for the C L , if you want to give the board a jolt , send them a message thursday night by your absence

   1. Spot on Bertie,short term pain for long term gain,I’m sure the team will manage either way ,win lose or draw is not always down to the fans it’s the 11 men on the field and what the manager instills in them,that gam could go either way even with a full house.

3. So we have decided due to asset stripping and no decent quality replacements that we don’t need £40m+ this year. With the way this team is playing we won’t even be in the big cup next year never mind even failing to qualify for the big money stages.

   So this policy or strategy has lost Celtic and the shareholders potentially £80m. Dereliction of duty? This could all impact the share price so the shareholders will take more hits.

   Will Adidas and other sponsors want to keep producing for a potentially seriously depleted market due to boycotts? Will managers and players want to come to a clearly warring club with no European aspirations, so the spiral continues ever downwards.

   I don’t like to see us descend to the levels and standards of our neighbours but something drastic needs to be done to ensure the future well being of our club.

   With the resources and finances we have these last 13 years and more should have seen us establish a golden era for the club but instead we seem hell bent on dragging us down to the rank standards of the horrible league we play in.

5. Introverts can do well in more technical senior roles but, if your are that socially awkward that you can’t communicate well, you should be nowhere near a CEO role. It’s one of the core skills for that ffs!!

   Tops for the adults and strips for the kids. Books, mugs, footballs, boots, socks, trainers, DVDs, keyrings, etc., etc. I got a heritage top, a football and the wee book on Tommy

   Burns (recycled from 1989) and by that idiot Keevins on my birthday in summer. (They don’t know Keevins as I do!!) Anyway, from that point we’ve pretty much all agreed, NO MORE!

   And now the CFC has started the Not Another Penny campaign. Well we kinda joined it before it existed and we’ll stick to it until Lawwell and Co are gone and POSITIVE change occurs at CP. I’ll be emailing CP to advise of this though I already did so earlier in the year.

8. I think it just shows how easily and quickly it can all go wrong using the Moneyball method to buy players.

   Aye they can get lucky and it generates a handful of guys that get sold on for decent profit.

   But unless you get lucky all the time, what we see now is what you end up with when you sell the last batch of luck and your left with the chaff, the punts, the ones the numbers say might turn out good, but they don’t.

   I also get those that say “ but BR wasted money on Engels, Idah, Trusty”.

   But the way I see those signings is the way BR and the rest of us seen them, they all actually looked to have promise, they all started off relatively well, but either just didn’t progress or even regressed, plus if out wonderful board had got the deals done promptly we wouldn’t have paid what we did for them.

   Anyone else noticed all the “ moneyball” cheap punts are in the door pronto but anything the manager spots drags on or doesn’t get done at all?

   It’s hard to point to a strength in the team just now, KS looks hapless at times, CCV needs reversing beeps to turn, KT is worse that GT and we let him go, Calmac is a headless chicken, Rio is just Rio, a bombscare, the new guy Balikwisha has shown nowt, and we don’t have a proven goalscorer either.

   That ain’t on BR.

   I have always maintained that the board actively operate a managed decline due to the state Sevco are in, keep us just good enough to keep our nose in front, cos if we do that we are champions.

   Well look how thats turning out Lawwell.

   I fully expect to lose to Hearts next week, there can be no other result, don’t care how died in the green wool we all are, any fan who thinks that team is going to Edinburgh and getting anything, its just blind faith.

   We will be 8 behind and maybe even further before Jan comes round.

   I will say this, if BR sees the season out and manages to win the league, it will be his greatest achievement from what I see now.

   We ain’t winning a cup that’s a cert, in a one off anyone has a chance against us.

9. What a shambles this has become not one winger can play on both wings.

10. We need to get things right OFF the park before we can fix things ON the park. It is abundantly clear and has been for some months things are very VERY wrong behind the scenes.

    Despite all the efforts of the fans, it is Desmond alone who can resolve this debacle overnight by taking the necessary steps. No-one should be calling out BR for money spent, his transfer dealings have seen the club pull in over £40m in profits – so much for actual investment !!!

    Losing to Dundee was bad enough, but in truth we were 2nd / 3rd best all over the park, Outfought, Outworked which should NEVER happen to any Celtic side. The balance of the team has been awful for over 18 months but smoothed over by success and ignored.

    If we don’t have the players then turn to young guns who would run through a brick wall. I recall such as Marshall – Maloney – Miller thrown in and able to show their worth. What do we have to lose or watch more players going through the motions ??

    Effort – Desire – Fight – PRIDE in the jersey is what can still see us lift the title.

    I don’t hold out ANY hopes for January window if the terrible threesome remain in situ !
    Brendan won’t get funds to spend, while we will probably see Maeda, Hatate sold ala Kyogo & Kuhn.

11. The Board has proved without doubt,

    that when it comes to delivering “customer satisfaction”,

    it’s not exactly world class!

    Still can’t understand the club’s lack of proper engagement / public humility so far.

    And as it stands, the AGM could be a bit disruptive, and that wouldn’t help anyone…?

    Editor: Meaningful public engagement might lead to awkward questions about the summer of 2012.

12. I spent what I was gonna spend on a Celtic strip for a Clachnacuddin FC one for The North of Scotland Cup Final v Forres Mechanics on Saturday…

    Didn’t do much good though as we lost it 3-2 after extra time…

    By the way – There are Cheats with Whistles and Flags if not monitors up there as well as I sadly witnessed on Saturday !!!
