Murdo Fraser showed his true colours on Twitter last night, following the sacking of Russell Martin after 17 matches as Head Coach of his favourite team.
Rather than comment on results under the bearded hipster, Fraser decided to highlight Marin’s lifestyle choices, the issues that made him almost the worst possible fix to manage the 2012 Ibrox Tribute Act.
The comments below are par for the course on Ibrox message boards and social media, as a list MSP he really should know better than to let his real prejudices surface.
Perhaps he could sign up to one of the inclusive workshops put on by his club or from the Holyrood parliament.
Those sort of comments might be fine in Kenny Macintyre’s WATP Group Chat but not from someone who has been draining the public purse for over 20 years.

Martin’s lifestyle choices caused concern for Ibrox fans as soon as he was linked with the job of Head Coach.
When he was appointed there was no sign of brogues or a smart club blazer, he later claimed that he was too sweaty to wear a suit.
Once the football started things went from bad to worse for Martin, five wins in 17 matches from a favourable run of fixtures was all the evidence that Paddy Stewart needed to sack his latest manager.
Since becoming CEO last December Stewart has worked with Phil Clement, Barry Ferguson and Martin, now the hunt is underway to recruit another manager.
After the failed experiment of Martin it is highly likely that his replacement will be more culturally aligned with the club ethos with Neil Warnock and David Martindale assured of a heroes welcome when they press a poppy into the label of their blazer.
Fraser has got in the back door as a list MSP at the last seven Holyrood elections.

When I see vile comments such as this from Murdo Fraser, I think of his club’s thirteen year descent from the once mighty Glasgow Rangers to Ibrox Espanyol, an utter shambles languishing in the lower reaches of the SPFL. They’re not Rangers any more and that hurts them. Long may their misery continue. These appalling bigots richly deserve it.

The Boyds,Raes,Ferguson family,coming out and telling us they understand the fans,but “don’t condone” their behaviour is so pathetically disingenuous that it makes me sick. How about roundly condemning the vicious guttersnipes who forced the hand of their board ? Their board caved in under threat of violence,and now the raging hordes know how to get it done.
Were they strongly advised,or rather instructed,bythe powers that be,outside of football,to act as a matter of public safety?

The new owners over in Govan,like players and managers,agents etc, can be forgiven for their ‘mistake’ of getting involved over there. Normal due diligence doesn’t cover unfathomable anachronism that is their very existence. These are the same types who stormed the Capitol and wanted to hang Mike Pence. You couldn’t make it up.
