  1. The quote “Lenny cast Alan Thompson aside when Thommo needed him most” indeed tells us everything about this wee snide. I wouldn’t trust Lennon with anything. However, he is just the kind of arse licker the board likes. Imagine being appointed in the shower! I don’t think Lawwell realised how pathetic and unprofessional that was.

Sums Celtic up just now. Highly unprofessional.

  2. Lennon is a sideshow, but an irritating one at that?

It shows his serious lack of judgement when he chooses to be a TV pundit whilst he is

currently an SPFL manager: it’s inevitable he’ll have to criticise a fellow manager?

And when BR does leave, can anyone see NL getting back into the club in some

capacity – under the current regime?

    Absolutely!

Yet another reason why this Board has to be exited… 🙁

  3. If Celtic drop two or even three points to Falkirk and lose to Sevco in The League Cup Semi Final – Will Lennon be in the chair a week today…

Surely ‘Daddy’ ‘Lucan’ and ‘Sly’ wouldn’t be that bloody daft…

    Or could they !

  4. It’s easy to see Lennon is angling for a job at Celtic, If he gets one, nobody will need to call for a boycott, the place will be empty in a couple of weeks. He’s a greedy sleekit wee snake of a man, taking money and sookin up to the very people in the media that slaughtered him on many occasions and playing to an audience that hates him to the point they sent him bullets in the post.

  5. Be better off with John Lennon in charge of first team matters than the belligerent bell-end this once-respected player has now become.

We gritted our teeth through much of both his managerial tenures during which he displayed either a lack of spine by acquiescing to “board signings” or a lack of judgment by owning some of those calamitous recruitment episodes. Bangura looked like he’d won a ‘Be A Footballer For A Day’ competition and Barkas looked like he wanted to be anywhere else but here – the sort of thing you’d pick up on in even a brief conversation with somebody you were going to employ, and the stories widely circulating about his behaviour in the run up to his last departure were staggering.

If our glorious leaders employ this person again – in any capacity – they will deserve all that comes their way, and it won’t be pretty.

  6. I would never turn on Neil Lennon what he was put through when managing CELTIC was so wrong, in our hour of need he answered the call. He should never have been offered the job permanently second time round, the board should have known better, with his mental health and that. Please don’t go to the level of the msm and start your Lennon this and that. It’s Neil and he done a lot for us

Editor: So the Dunfermline manager is allowed to slaughter the current Celtic boss, stick up for his pals on the board in the hope of another job and fans just sit back and say ‘ah, Lenny, top lad, one of our own’?
