An image celebrating the history of Celtic is quickly coming together.
The Mishmash man has a simple yet highly effective formula that seems perfect for the history of Scotland’s most successful club.
Basically the canvas is split in two, the bottom half is the pitch, the top the terraces and it makes for perfect balance. Celtic celebrates.
Today’s Celtic Mishmash update: Huge thanks to everyone who has sent their flags over. I’ve put the majority in, just got a few that need reworking.
Keep sending in your flags and any suggestions on players & moments to add! pic.twitter.com/ftgEn7Imh5

On the pitch Mishmash man has captured dozen of historic scenes, the closer you look the more you uncover.
John Hartson can be seen belting in his goal at Anfield in 2003, Tommy Burns celebrates in the bottom left corner, the post Hillsbrough match is remember at the front. There are a few Henrik Larsson moments, Chris Jullien’s celebration is in there alongside Daizen Maeda and many others.
Frank McAvennie and the three bears from Ibrox 1987 isn’t difficult to pick out, a splash of blue among Glasgow’s green and white.
The top half is handed over to supporters and the banners that are forever changing.
THE GOLDEN, TROPHY DAYS
They represent individual supporters clubs or topical moments in history, the terrace area is split in two.
Halfway up there is almost a podium with some recognisable Celtic trophy lifts. Centrepiece is the now notorious image from June 2023 of Brendan Rodgers with his ‘welcoming party’.
There is the image of Pierce and David O’Leary at Highbury in 1986. Scott Brown put shades on at Ibrox for a few seconds, you’ll find it in the print. The closer you look, the more that you find.
It is a simple idea but oozing in memories, catching some of the greatest moments over 138 years. Naturally the emphasis is on the last 25 years but the past isn’t overlooked.
With fans turning off the club’s income stream through merchandise there are plenty of independent offerings.
Michael Nicholson might think that all is world class around Celtic, there are alternative options out there.

At last a positive read

There is a live and breathing mishmash at Parkhead…
DADDY – LUCAN – SLY (Lawwell, Nicholson, McKay) !
Maybe it’s the current circumstances at CP and the mood of our supporters but the one that ‘jumped out’ at me is: “THEY HUNG OUT THE FLAG OF WAR” on the Tricolour.
The Foggy Dew is an all-time favourite of mine and those words above should be taken to heart by ALL Tims as we rev up the resolve to bin our club of these greedy, tory, capitalist scum and begin the move towards supporter ownership with self-sustaining values and a not-for-profit Celtic FC. Not for capitalist gain, not for profit.
COME ON YOU BHOYS IN GREEN, you know it makes sense.
