Celtic are delaying the publication of their full accounts and announcing the date of their AGM.
Last year an announcement was made on October 14 with the meeting held on November 20.
Strangely Peter Lawwell accused one shareholder of having an unhealthy obsession with him and his son. Others would call it scrutiny, something of an alien concept to the Celtic Chairman.
Companies are required to give three weeks notice to shareholders of their AGM, clearly there will be some concern in the boardroom about this year’s AGM. Especially the performance of Michael Nicholson.
Celtic has usually announced their AGM by now.

Since the start of this season the cocktail of contempt and patronising from the Celtic board has created two critical groups.
The Celtic Fans Collective and Celtic Supporters Limited have been born out of concerns over the running of the club.
BATTLE LINES DRAWN
At the start of September a group led by The Green Brigade issued an open letter around seven key questions.
Within a week they had the backing of 400 different support groups, the Collective was formed on September 20.
Celtic Supporters Limited is aimed more at calling out and correcting the shoddy corporate governance of the club.
NEDs Lawwell, Brian Wilson, Tom Allison and Dermot Desmond have each been in and around the club for over 20 years.
On September 19 Celtic published a summary of their 2025 accounts which revealed turnover of £143.6m which produced a profit of £33.9m. The club had £77.3m sitting in their bank account before Nicholson produced another profit out of the transfer window.
The full accounts will give a breakdown of how much Directors and Executives were paid. Nicholson is likely to have gone through the £1m barrier. CFO Chris McKay is likely to be closing in on direct pay of £700,000.
Cynics will be looking out for the full accounts being published late on Thursday in the build up to the Europa League tie against Sturm Graz.
Who should be removed first from Celtic?
Nicholson- a void of leadership
Rodgers- delivering success against the odds

Wish you widny use that pic for MN.
I instantly think of Sid the Sloth from Ice Age.
MN is such a great leader, if he was in charge of lemmings they’d be heading away from the cliff edge.
Can you vote for both of them.
Editor: No, one or the other. If you want to vote Rodgers you’ll find some great discussions going on at Celtic Thick News.
Don’t agree sorry, whilst I totally blame the board for the shambles of a window. The managers tactics are chronic, use of the squad is awful ( why ralston in for Donovan for example) Tierney too. This has been going on since January so Rodgers is also due a large part of the blame imo. His style of football is awful and 100 per cent the reason I didn’t want him back. Season 2 5/3 first time round was the same
Editor: Your visit on here is likely to be a short one, better off with the lads on Celtic Thick News discussing the brilliance of Lawwell, Nicholson and McKay.
What’s the announcement ….that ‘ the greys ‘ of the board are set to be paid their largest ever bonus ? Get the hankies out cos this Is going to make the eyes water ! Like a big kick in the ‘ Donegal’s! ‘
It crossed my mind just a few days ago that a ‘major statement’ would be aired via one of the board’s weasels in the MSM to the effect that something big would be announced at the AGM.
Thus kicking the can down the road a bit to buy some time to contrive more of their shit practices. Inferences (and nothing more) that maybe Lawwell, maybe Nicholson, maybe even both were to stand down when, in fact, there were no such intentions, just another fukkin ruse. They’ll need to be hunted out and IMHO should be. These phony gits are nothing near to Celtic supporters, just fleas on the club, OUR club’s body.
Believe nothing they utter, just unite and drive the whole fukkin lot of them OUT, never to return.
Editor, I somehow got the impression that Celtic Supporters Limited and Celtic Fans Collective were one and the same individuals?
I really hope that is the case as the more ‘groups’ we have the less powerful we become.
One ‘voice’ for Celtic supporters would be unstoppable and it’s my fervent hope that it would lead to all the Celtic supporters/shareholders coming together, growing in strength and numbers until we took ownership of Celtic FC.
“You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one.” Just Imagine!
Editor: Celtic Supporters Limited is focussed fully on corporate governance and share matters.
Thanks for that editor. Corporate governance, or rather the lack of it, is a joke at CP but not one bit funny. If shareholders can be connected by using their proxy to (CFC/CSL) then we can move forward.
Que sera, sera……..
board accounts – Will be appalling…
player accounts – Equally appalling !
