Deflect and deny- Ibrox paranoia in full flow

Just after 7pm last night the paranoid Ibrox club briefed their favourite messengers.

Chris Jack has the template, ready to slot in the variables. After every big match failing the Rangers Review reporter is informed of the big excuse. Almost always seeking clarification from the SFA/Willie Collum for a decision made. Taking club policy from the unhinged and howling on social media, mainly message boards.

TARGET TRUSTY

This time Nick Walsh and Aston Trusty are the targets.

In first half stoppage time Jack Butland came diving out to collect a ball. Trusty briefly raised his boot then pulled back, his foot was no more than 30cm off the ground.

Butland collected the ball, his momentum carried him through into Trusty’s boot which was moving away from the former Crystal Palace flop.

Super Jack rolled over, some team-mates tried to get Trusty sent off. Harshly Nick Walsh booked the Celtic defender.

And three hours after the match the deflection paranoia was launched.

Thanks to the agenda of legacy media there is barely a comment this morning on the brutal assault on Johnny Kenny by Derek Cornelius.

The on loan defender went straight for Kenny’s ankle after the ball was played. Kenny wasn’t braced for it, he took it on his standing foot.

DECISIONS, DECISIONS

Walsh produced a yellow card. The VAR team watched it from various angles. We know what to expect from the tag team of Steven McLean and Andrew Dallas.

A few minutes earlier McLean and Dallas conjured up VAR lines to disallow a ‘goal’ from Celtic.

In the 80th minute Walsh, McLean and Dallas awarded the Ibrox men a ridiculous penalty to equalise. Tony Ralston was pushed to the ground resulting in the handball.

Remembering the events of July 2012 Michael Nicholson won’t be challenging the SFA over any Hampden decisions.

Should Walsh, McLean and Dallas be dropped from refereeing?

Joe McHugh has edited Video Celts since 2010, every day covering events in and around Scotland's most successful club.

When a six year stretch at the Sunday Mirror came to an end it was clear that the future was digital, print had ran its race.

Smart phones and social media created a new landscape, Video Celts has certainly made an impact with Joe described as having an unhealthy obsession by Peter Lawwell at the 2024 Celtic AGM. A priceless endorsement.

There are issues breaking around the clock, no two days are the same. More than 50 years on from his first match Joe is enjoying the ongoing successes of Celtic.

    Hard to swallow for them?

It was only a yellow because it that was the correct decision. I would even say the yellow was harsh as I think his leg just jerked out unintentionally. Sure I saw some loonball on follow follow last night suggesting they crowdfund legal action about it! The spurs tackle on the Chelsea player on Saturday night only got a yellow and var accepted the onfield decision so I can accept the corneulius yellow but they were lucky not be down to 9 in first half.

The same club that appealed Roofe’s head height karate kick jaw breaking tackle on the Slavia keeper.
Is it just me, or are Sevco fans becoming more unhinged after each defeat, being fuelled by fanboys in the media?
Absolutely astonished me how our national media can push a narrative like the Butland tap whilst completely ignoring an ankle breaker by Cornelius.

When you get papped out the cup by an injury ravaged side with 2 strikers who cost around £150.000

Then it’s deflection time from Statement F.C

Aided and abetted by the SMSM media who are also reviewing this match as if they played like prime Barca in the 2nd half

On another note, I seen they had a sam English flag in the stand and their goons behind the goal were waving parachute regiment flags.

    • TicToc says:

I saw that Galtee, 1st time I thought it was some right-wing dross from England then I saw the ‘Sam’ later on and explained it to my wife. Just when you think ‘they’ can’t get any lower they somehow manage it. Utter scum, They take hypocrisy to a whole new level with their bastard parent denying taxes to HMRC and hence everything including the armed forces going without kit and then they suck up to them. The sickest minds on the planet. Just think from the same twisted gubs “nobody likes us, we don’t care” and “we are the people”. And someone mentioned they were getting even worse, well I agree. And Sam English would have been horrified beyond belief to think his accidental collision with Johnny Thompson would one day be weaponised. Absolute and utter SCUM. And it’s NOT “a small minority”.

This is just par for the course with The Ragers!
Zero class in everything they do.
Gives us all a right good laugh though 🙂

  • Thomas Boyle says:

No doubt no demand for action on Deek Cornelius or on the fans reviving the old family favourite “The Famine Song” from the foaming mouthed West of Scotland FC or Silent Mike spineless suits.

  • Captain Swing says:

Sevco getting that ridiculous penalty and taking it to extra time was almost better than just giving them an outright tanking. Getting an equaliser and taking it to extra time would have seen a resurgence of hope in them – and as we have debated many times before, it’s the weight of hope that truly crushes the spirit out of them….

It was not exactly in the Kemar Roofe style of evil intent to maim and wound a goalkeeper ..was it ?

  • Jim m says:

Looked to me like Trusty was hoping butplug would fumble the ball as usual and readied his foot for a tap in , hardly the crime of the century as the foaming klanbase are squawking about…… As for the parachute regiment badges ….. They don’t like it up them do they captain mannering, no sir they do not , fk them they are an irrelevance as are sevco.

  • Clachnacuddin and the Hoops says:

They control the narrative yet again so they do…

And Celtic of course say the square root of fuck all…

Their board and executive have more testerone in one public pubic hair than 100,000 Lord Lucan Nicholson’s ever would !
