It certainly wasn’t a beautiful Sunday at Ibrox today.
Watching Celtic winning away against Hibs wasn’t the best of warm ups for the fans that turned up to watch Falkirk.
Fan accounts suggest that between 30-35,000 bothered turning up, less than 10,000 saw it through to boo their heroes off at full time.
AWAY DAYS AT LAST
Ahead of a daunting schedule of away matches Danny Rohl’s side are in fourth place. Seven points behind Celtic and nine adrift of Hearts. Tynecastle and Celtic Park are coming up over the next five weeks.
Rohl might be wearing brogues and a club suit but his honeymoon is over.
Despite inheriting the dross from Russell Martin he should be able to canter to full points at home to clubs that were in the Championship last season.
It took an honest mistake from John Beaton to see off Livingston last Saturday. Today Andrew Dallas was unable to follow that up.
Racking up a clean sheet didn’t appeal to the angry bears. Super Scoreboard was gold as it came on air at 4pm.

On Follow Follow the mood wasn’t much better.
Rohl isn’t Martin but fans expect more from a non-Vegan, a non Buddhist.
PILING UP THE DEBT
A net spend of over £20m was racked up over the summer. New arrivals on expensive contracts. Alongside flops on loan, sending them back in January would be a popular move.
With income down, massively in the case of Europe there seems little prospect of the big January spend that fans are expecting.
Last Monday Kev Thelwell and Paddy Stewart were sacked.
Unless he can conjure up a festive miracle the anger will soon be on Andrew Cavenagh.
He wouldn’t be the first owner/Chairman to be chased out of Ibrox.
Dave King and Paul Murray are unlikely to be commenting on the billionaire owners that they brought to Ibrox.
David Edgar was in full ‘somebody’s going tae have tae dae something’ mode after watching from the press gantry.

Pmsl. These f**kers are going down like the Titanic.
Full steam ahead for the SS Sevco! What’s that? Icebergs you say? Nah, nothing to worry about…..
It’s the hope that gets them, every time. They’d allowed themselves to dream that with Brendan going and protests against the board we’d be in meltdown and they’d storm past us to take on the Cousins of William in a title showdown. Now it’s looking more like a long, cold miserable winter with only deep fried dogshit for Xmas dinner to look forward to for ‘em.
My heart is pumping purple p15h for them.
I reckon Keith Jackson and his blue nose pals are gonna be sitting on that Hotline Live thing soon debating wether they should go for Slippy or Bazza
Humour? Fae a hun? Shows how bad it’s got for them.
Once more , the narrative from the SMSM is on theRangers not winning against Falkirk , as if they were entitled to the win ! It’s like all they had to do was turn up on Sunday for the match and the tribute act was guaranteed 3 points ? All of it orchestrated by the dismal SMSM . Totally disrespectful of Falkirk..as per . Herr Rohl is out of his depth ….the guy uses piffle as football talk . If he lasts until next season .. I’ll be astonished .
Ha Ha – Great result…
I couldn’t believe it when I heard it !
