Celtic fans return fire as Board declares war on Green Brigade

For the third time in under a month Celtic have announced action against the Green Brigade.

Not a word of complaint has been raised about the officials and decision making in the League Cup Final.

Nothing on the deliberate head attacks on Arne Engels and Yang Hyun-jun at Easter Road.

Oh not. Celtic are mute on those sort of issues. Michael Nicholson knows where the July 2012 paper trail leads to.

His mentor, Peter Lawwell was in his pomp at the 2019 AGM.

PLC AGENDA

Since Dermot Desmond turned up at the match against Falkirk on October 29 Celtic have been prolific on their attacks on the Green Brigade. Even if their initial claims have been downgraded to just an incident.

First there was the three match ban. Followed by the warning over the meeting of the Safety Advisory Group.

Then with expectations of announcing a manager Celtic came up with an indefinite ban on the Green Brigade.

Online supporters knew exactly the agenda being driven by Nicholson and his cronies.

The timing is horrific. Much like Nicholson’s transfer negotiations.

MANAGEMENT TIMELINE

Tonight should be about Martin O’Neill’s final match as interim manager.

Dundee at home on a midweek December night carries little appeal. Saying good be and thanks to a genuine 21st century legend has been tarnished by the latest actions.

On Sunday Wilfried Nancy should be in charge of Celtic for the first time. Possibly handed the chance of going to the top of the S[FL Premiership table.

Instead there will be renewed attention on the actions of the Collective. A march from St Mary’s at 1.15pm has been arranged. Coinciding with the food bank collection arranged by the Green Brigade.

Every utterance and communication from Nicholson grows the Collective and reinforces their goals, claims and ambitions.

As Twitter/X and other social media platforms confirm.

Celtic Collective, Ross Desmond, nANCY

Joe McHugh has edited Video Celts since 2010, every day covering events in and around Scotland's most successful club.

When a six year stretch at the Sunday Mirror came to an end it was clear that the future was digital, print had ran its race.

Smart phones and social media created a new landscape, Video Celts has certainly made an impact with Joe described as having an unhealthy obsession by Peter Lawwell at the 2024 Celtic AGM. A priceless endorsement.

There are issues breaking around the clock, no two days are the same. More than 50 years on from his first match Joe is enjoying the ongoing successes of Celtic.

Desmond hates to have any attention focused on him or his company’s ,time to shine a light on him the one thing the fkr hates in attention especially in front of his golfing pals

Yes, banning your paying customers for even longer – that will work!

    Mental.

The Board [DD?] decisions seem emotional, if not personal?

This is no way for a plc Board to behave.

“World class” it most definitely is not! 🙁

    Fascist scum. NOT ANOTHER PENNY

  • Wee Jock says:

I’m no fan of the Green Brigade because of their pyro (I’ve got COPD), the bullying at away matches and their running from the onion brats letting the tribe down but I do agree with their politics and charitable work. I’d like to hear the other side of the story as we all know that this board are liars and cheats, and who can trust a ex cop filling his boots to back up a massive pension. After the Hearts game it’s has to be time for a boycott and picket the retail outlets over Christmas.

There is a relation between discretion and valour wee jock. Celtic won the game against Them you are talking about? Woud you rather see pitched battles on the streets of mount florida and all that entails?
Them were in the wrong, not us!

  • Daniel Docherty. says:

In the eyes of V C have the G B done anything wrong, this time, yes or no. Whatabouterry is not a defence, if you have broken the rules a punishment follows, five year olds used to know that.
Celtic have a history of choosing their battles with the sfa and normally have a good outcome on major issues yes many wish we would have more battles with them, but do you want to be nothing more than a bunch of whining barstewards, like statement o’clock

Editor: Since July 2012 Celtic have lost everything to the SFA, that is why Nicholson doesn’t say a word. Best wishes to Paul and the lads over at Celtic Thick News hoorah.

  • Scousebhoy says:

We want the invisible man to stand up to staff and players getting assaulted at ibrox ,the var shambles and the bias of referees the last semi final when most decisions went against springs to mind. If he would make statements then the gutless media would report it bringing it out in the open .if those assaults at ibrox had happened to the new club at parkhead they would have been demanding stand closures don’t be in any doubt about that and they would be perfectly entitled to do it. The invisible man spineless gutless wage thief.

    The answer is
“Long John Silver Wore An Eye Patch and Peter Lawwell doesn’t!”
    What is the question?
    Christmas is coming!

  • TicToc says:

I think it’s all about unification of our support now that that shower has declared war on the GB. Myself and my family have been on the “Not Another Penny” thingy since before the new CFC launched it, i.e. it was an obvious (though a bit painful) step to take.

But now I think we need to look at other more radical approaches IN ADDITION to NAP.

WHEN THAT SHOWER ATTACKS ONE OF US IT ATTACKS ALL OF US.

Stick together and starve them out. Oh, and a wee protest march and gridlock around the leafy areas where the chief culprits reside would certainly be noticed!

This time they’ve just gone too far.

Remember when Thatcher smashed and divided the miners? And what happened to Trades Unions after that? Well this is out of the same filthy, tactical handbook. You won’t change anything by waving wee bits of red paper at them. If our supporters are banned from their (spiritual) home then the culprits should be ‘discouraged’ from accessing theirs.

Unpalatable things happen in war, and be in no doubt, this is war.

  • Jim Duffy says:

Well said TicToc it’s time the gloves come off, this board are using old Tory tactics, divide and conquer,we should all be together,we will never walk alone.

    • TicToc says:

GREAT STUFF, Jim, there’s now at least TWO of us. 🙂 It’s no’ actually funny!
But, TWO willing rebels will outfight any tory, capitalist, anti-Celtic scum the establishment and all its tendrils can throw at us. “We’re on the one road, it may be a long road, we’re on the road to god knows where……..”

  • Clachnacuddin and the Hoops says:

Unless this is fuckin sorted Sevco and Hearts benefit…

All I can say is thank fuck they are both pure pish !
